Atlanta moved to 10 digit dialing a couple years ago. Its not so bad now, but when it first started you had to dial twice as many numbers because you always screwed up.
555-4141 *shit* 123-555-4141.
And don't even think about sending that email with an attachment. In fact, don't even think about sending that email at all. It may be possible to re-arrange that message into a binary file that actually contains the first second of an a commercial MP3! If your using outlook its not an issue since you wont be able to send attachments anyway
I have a Targus backpack for my laptop (The one shown on the far right on the front page of theyre site). Its not the most comfortable backpack in the world, but it is very well padded, w/ a ton of pockets/zippers/buckles etc. It can fit just about anything you would want to put in it. It is kind of pricey though at $100.00 US. Also if youre laptop is small enough eddie bauer sells a laptop insert that is basically this foam thing you put your laptop in, then put that in any backpack. Nick
You could always setup a cron job to mail them 2 - 3 times a day asking to be removed, just make sure you use a hotmail account or something as the from/reply to address.
tcsh has limited spell checking that can become quite a crutch if you use it long enough. I often find my self hitting 'y' after seeing I mispell something immediately after I hit enter expecting it to execute cat instead of car etc when Im in bash. Wow, do I get an award for that run-on sentence? Maybe fiona apple will name her next cd after this post.
I had a similar problem, since imho netscapes mail client bites I chose to go w/ a browser based approach.. Its similar to hotmail, but you can run it on your own box, and it can poll pop3 accounts.
Dont remember where, or I might just be dreaming, but i thought I read somewhere about a quad processor 3dfx video card. Even if thats vapor, ati doesnt make that great of 3d video chipsets do they?
The article doesnt mention anything about if the animal could survive. When I think of a wooly mammoth I think big hairy elephant that lives in the snow. Would it be able to eat etc? What would the effects of bringing this animal back have on its food source? (i.e What if it eats manatees or some other endangered plant/animal). Haphazardly bringing animals back to life just because it would be cool doesnt sound like a good idea.
When MS ran the different test, they claimed to do it because the original challenge (TPC-D) wasnt a real world situation, so they didnt see a point in benchmarking that. Sound familiar anyone?
administrators claim the number is protected from unauthorized use through encryption in the barcode
According to this page (Linked in the article) all it uses is binary for the first 2 characters of the first 5 digits (0 - 4), then loops for the last 5 (5 - 9). That must mean that my entire harddrive is encrypted! ph34r m3! And hear I am worried about the privacy of my data on my hard drive.
Im surprised to read all the bad feelings towards mindspring, I have been using them for 2+ years w/o problem. Occasionally POPs get busy, but it is usually remedied reasonably quickly. The few times I have called them they have been pleasant, but I dont remember the hold times. Im wondering if my experiences have been so different then everyone elses because Im in atlanta (where mindspring is based I believe). disclaimer: I dont work for or represent mindspring.

If you spend that much time on the toilet, you have bigger problems than whether you can get your email or not. =)
The really sad part is there is already precedence for him to win ...

I bet adsl would really suck in venezuela w/ over 180 AM radio stations. Oh wait, what wouldnt suck w/ that many AM stations and little/no fm.
Anyone noticed that you cant get past the first page of handspring?

Compare the results of this to the cnn poll, looks like MS is helping MSNBC as much as slashdot is helping cnn.
Is this a late halloween surprise? I just got spam from bmg music (of which ive never been a member) selling y2k calendars ...
Do people actually do this?
Great, now everyone is going to start bitching about her not being open source ... =)

You can use icecast for a free shoutcast compatible mp3 server.
