    I agree with the comments about Real, but the issue is: M$ is doing it again, the same crap they did to Netscape, only this time with a better product. They are using their leverage with the OEMs to shove a product down everyones throat.
    That is the core of the original anti-trust case, and M$ is still doing the same things. They really need to be slapped down.

    Someone in Texass that has brains?

    OO is a great product and getting more use everywhere. If M$ goes to xml format in the next release most file migration problems will be gone.
    The Home Collection, a funiture manufacturer in High Point, NC (funiture capital of the world) is now using it on all computers except one. The office help is working on that one.
    A working suite with minimal bugs and no M$ tax it should be a no brainer.

    You are basicly correct.

    Fine the benificiaries of the SPAM (the companies being advertized) and they will change their method of advertizing.

    It's really simple, kill the money tree and the problem goes away.

    and let the FTC worry about it. Just like I do now.

    Simple definition:

    Get a clue.

    Saddam will be tried in Iraq by his own victims. The sentance will be death. The appeals process, (in the absense of bleeding heart liberals) will be very short.

    The 2004 election is now over. Bush has won and the liberals are, as usual, the last to know.

    Lets see, North Carolina, 100 counties and 13 seats in the house. Or New Mexico, 37 counties and 3 seats in the house with a total population of less than 2.5 Million with the 4th largest land area. Go ahead and do that the easy way. Either one.

    The people of this country can limit any term they want during the first week of November in any even numbered year (1/3 of the senate, 100% of the house, state legislators and others). It's called voting. Since we are headed for less than 40% of the eligable people voting, the ones that vote get the say. The rest just whine. I guess if people want change they could get off their lazy asses on the one day their bitch really counts. If you don't vote, don't bitch because you gave up the right.

    All redistricting is done at the state level not the federal. It's the state legislature thats the problem.

    You nailed it. This has been going on since redistricting started. It's only more obvious now because groups started filing lawsuits over it. It actually became a real big deal when we the voters let the Congress of the US give themselves enough raises to make it a permanant job worth having. That thundering heard of dumbass sould make the average or median wage of the US, whichever is lower.

    The Constitution says Citizen/Legislators. it was never intended to be a full time job.

    My only problem with free VOIP is when the phone lines start degrading. As much as I hate my over priced, inflated phone bill. If 40% of their customers go to the free service, who pays for line maintenance and how? These same lines deliver the web. Does that mean my access charge will double? Something to think about.
