    Even my Congressman admits it's a piece of crap. He responded to my email telling him to vote against it with the opening line: "I'm one of the dummies who fell for it". His own research showed it was useless but wasn't complete in time for the vote. That one was rammed through real fast.

    Lawyers are the cause of most lawsuits. Look at the court docket in any major city. Every childish, moronic reason for a suit is already there. Lawyers make mega money by encouraging everyone to sue over anything. Especially in the area of liability, we have to keep stupid people from hurting themselves. So much for natural selection.

    The same thundering herd of dumbass that use any form of IE. Just like using hotmail or MSN, these are nothing but virus traps. Those that like catching the worm or virus of the week will continue to use them. The rest of us will use Mozilla, opera or even Netscape. Anything is better than IE.

    I've been using Red Hat (6.2, 7.0, 7.2, 9.0). for more than three and a half years with no problems. This is on 2 different machines. Both have been dual boot, want the best games run MS, with 98se and now xp. The win drive is just for gaming and serious work on the Linux drive.
    If I was looking for a new version I would look at Suse, and Mandrake since RH is abandoning the desktop. These look like fine versions to me. Flip a coin.

    Most people just need to know what time it is where they are standing. All the bells and whistles are annoying and pretty much useless. They also cause a loss of reliability, the more complicated you make it, the more likely to break. Try and find something better than a 12.95 Timex(now about 21.95) that will last 6 to 8 years with no trouble. Just like an article earlier this week about the demise of simple cell phones. Lets add more crap, why? Because we can, it doesn't have to make sense. No one NEEDS to be that connected.

That would produce one answer. Statistics is nothing more than rumor, gossip, and bullshit! Just like the current version of economics, it was created as a separate field in the fifties by some out of work mathamaticians to create jobs for themselves.

    Kodak is only good at making film. Their cameras were never a threat to the mid-range or better. My 26 year old Nikon F2 can still take better pictures than 90% of the 35mm cameras built since and far outclasses ANY digital made yet.
