They were moved to the Vimio youtube channel. Google did some housekeeping and removed channel views if the video is no longer there. Video views were not effected. Only about 1.5 million views were removed because of spammy sites that start a video when you first access the page.

The Caymans and Ireland are tax shelters. It is not clear in a just system why these goverments should get any of Facebooks profits. How are Irish roads or Cayman firefighters providing a service for Facebook? Facebook profits come from advertising. It might be smart for countries to focus their taxes on the ads. Tax advertisement revenue instead of profits. This would distribute the wealth to locations where Facebook is used and where profits are generated.

We focus plenty of resources on those everyday homicides. Those homicides are the reason we have security gaurds with guns at the entrances to Banks and not elementry schools. Spending more resources on that problem won't neccesarily change anything. At some point your just harrasing innocent people who fit profiles. It should also be noted that violent crime of that sort has been on a decline. Plus the 1/3 deliberate homicides include plenty of people involved in crimes. If your not sucidal, don't own a gun, and not involved in crime your not at much risk. At some level society doesn't care abuot those deaths.

Local police officers being qualified to deal with international export laws? Not likely. There's a whole government branch set up for this, the ITA I believe.

The cops were not doing that. They were called in because a person would not leave a store after being asked to leave. This is something they do every day of the year. The whole export thing was a private dispute between Apple and the woman.

Not really relevant. A store doesn't have to sell you multiple copies of something. You can't take the store hostage to force them to sell you more.
