destroy an irreplaceable piece of history

Well, it is quite replaceable, just buy a violin and wait. Voila, an old violin. Personally I don't really see why anything old has an excessive value beyond its use.

How does this model compare to the exoskeletons the military has developed to let soldiers carry more weight? I get that there is some added sophistacation in the balancing and control algorthms needed to assist a parapalegic. But I wonder if the robotics is actually better or different. Is this just the same model as the military version but spun off for medical use?

The Fourteenth Amendment Equal Protection Clause applies only to state governments. For the judicial system your looking at the due process clause in the Fifth Amendement. Having each circuit have its own limited common law doesn't violate due process. You still have a process that is formalized and the same across the country.

So what, even the bible puts the origin of language before the tower of Babel. I think I remember God creating the universe by speaking and Adam talking with God in the garden of Eden. Reading the story languages split before the tower of Babel. The tower was a tool to unite mankind. Therefor, mankind was devided prior to it being built. It was destroyed and mankind became devided again.

If I recall correctly a brokered convention wasn't necessary for Obama to trump Hilary as the Democrats used proportional representation in 2008.

The issue never appeared before the convention. Hilary made a deal with Obama and dropped out. She could of forced the issue at the convention but it would of resulted in a split in the party.

It also is not a secret ballot. So changing the vote would be harder since the people at the precint saw how people voted. It is pretty hard to change the vote later when the vote is a show of hands. Since it is not a secret ballot you are more likely to get things like voter itimidation by employers, and vote buying.
