I am willing to bet that within the next year and a half, firefox or chrome will be in the lead. Opera may either be third or fourth and IE will have a definite shift in it's standings.
Regarding the ballot itself how does it work? I'm a US resident as such I have not seen it. Is it just an internet window that pops up and suggests other browsers? Or is the ballot itself downloaded onto the machines along with the browsers? I am merely curious for memory issues and whether or not it takes up space.
Why not ban any type of game that has a ruler/leader type. Including any game that has it's own set of rules because it can be claimed that they are following a gang's creed.
I think it's bad that FireFox, lies in Googles hands, because if Google changes their ideals and shifts into a new direction that Mozilla doesn't like they lose their sponsor and it makes a ton of headaches for both companies. I agree with elrous0 I believe FireFox should break away but at this point they do not have a sponsor so they couldn't break away, unless they wanted to become self sufficent and have to hire a whole new team.But alas even if they do become self sufficent, they would still need the backing of a search engine. Bing, Microsofts creation, is okay, it's not the greatest but I perfer Google to Bing and haven't really had extensive testing with it. Yahoo on the other hand, has dropped out of the race more or less as Microsoft, I believe paid them to drop out.
Not all hackers aspire to be phishers, or vice versa or even remotely close. I am a hacker, I don't do it to steal passwords and or valuables, I do it to get into places I shouldn't, expose the holes, confront the company explaining how I did it, and why I did it. Then leave out... minor... details so they have to ask more and then they pick me up on a contract.
It's not "wrong" because I'm not making the holes, I am just finding them.
As a newcomer stepping into the ring of programming, I am slowly teaching myself Java in preparation for my computer science AB exam. I am completely self-taught and I know C/C++. I believe the dumbing down of programming was inevitable, much the same way operating systems get more and more user oriented and easier for the common person to use. In an attempt to make us, the programmers, seem less reclusive and smelly they are trying to expose more and more people to the world of programming showing that you do not have to be reclusive or smelly to program.
