On August 17, 2006, District Court Judge Anna Diggs Taylor ruled in ACLU v. NSA that NSA violated the First and Fourth amendment by warrantless tapping American citizens in the aftermath of 9/11.
Just curious, how much does one of your re-manufactured cartridges cost?
I was looking for a toner cartridge recently (MLT-D108S specifically) and found out that the re-manufacturing service in my city were simply too expensive compared new cartridge. The cheapest quote I got was $60, which is significantly more than the $45 price of a brand new cartridge on eBay. Not to mentioned I would have spend the time to take two trips to the store versus waiting for the cartridge to arrive at my doorsteps.
In Canada it's perfectly legal to access CP. The Criminal Code of Canada only prohibits possession of CP, specifically it is an offense to:
- possess any child pornography (section 163.1(4))
- make, print, publish or possess for the purpose of publication any child pornography (section 163.1(2))
- import, distribute, sell or possess for the purpose of distribution of sale any child pornography (section 163.1(3))
Everything was clearly stated year before this case. I would hardly call that a technicality.
Let's not forget that Abwehr, the German intelligence agency, were headed by members of the German resistance who sought to undermine Hitler's influence.
I couldn't find the price on the official website, but this guy claims that Rogers roaming on AT&T is only $1 per MB. 16 times difference is just ridiculous.
Prepaid data is almost like highway robbery in Canada.
$2.99 CAD (~2.93USD) for 20MB I don't have data on Google Voice, but Skype is roughly 30kbps, so 20MB would only last 11 minutes.
I can't find data regarding Fido's prepaid data costs but I suspect it's similar to Rogers' since they're basically the same company.
They keep playing because their friend's co-worker's distant relative once won a jackpot.
Many "successful" DRM schemes exist today - PS3, Steam, et cetera. These one-in-a-million success examples are what's driving the entire industry towards DRM.
While our legal system is indeed complex enough to be measured in units of LoC, one does not need to master its entirety in order effectively defend oneself in the court of law.
Emprical evidence actually shows that self-representation is just as good, if not better, than counsel representation in criminal cases.
Or else I will kill myself and get you guys into big trouble!
"from" the United States: An American citizen to a foreign person
"to" the United States: foreign person an American citizen
In both cases the American citizen's Fourth Amendment rights were violated.
Just ban them from listening in on Americans, as an official policy, and don't worry about it.
I'm sorry but that's purely wishful thinking on your part.
In 1976, the Church Committee reports found NSA obtained copies of millions of private telegrams sent from, to or through the United States in its SHAMROCK program.

In April 2009, intelligence officials admits that NSA had been engaged in “overcollection” of domestic communications of Americans. In one extreme case they even wiretapped a congressmen while he was overseas.
Please note that I am not wearing tinfoil hats and all my sources came from either from Congressional hearings or court rulings.
But who watches the watchers? Who ensures the NSA does not conduct warrantless tapping? The Attorney General?
Can anyone say that their flying experience is actually better after TSA was created? Anyone?
It's the only way for some of us to actually afford X-ray checkups, you insensitive clod!
There's always Nvidia Quadro Plex, where the the cards sit in an external 1U case.

Never hire anyone that went to a university that advertises on TV.
I guess the updated version of that would be: never hire anyone that went to a university that advertises on blogs.
I don't see how you can suicide with an axe.
Using all zeros as the IV to AES? I'm very disappointed in you, Randall.
Misapplication of cryptographic tools should be a capital offense, even in the context of making puzzles.
Is there any store out there that still allow for game returns? I'm being sarcastic here; I really want to know.
Steam doesn't offer refunds.
Nor does newegg offer refunds on games.
None of the Brick and Mortar stores in my city does it either.
If there are still stores out there that allows for game refunds, how do they deal with the "Buy, copy cdkey, get refund" crowd?
Anti-trust laws only apply to corporations. Zuckerberg wouldn't face any charges personally in that case.
I have severe developmental speech disorder, you insensitive clod!
I'm never inviting you to my parties again.
The unemployment rate is already bad enough.
We don't need sharks to displace even more workers off the assembly line.

4. Congressmen who enacted the DMCA.
5. Anyone who wasted their time to discuss this silly issue.
That's quite a pessimistic way of looking at things.
I prefer to think of it as "all copyrights expire the day after I die".
Personally I don't consider lawyers human.

Shipping is $6.99 unfortunately.
The Agent obviously knew about this device already. That's why he removed Neo's lips entirely.
The machines are always one step ahead of us.
