If you make a detect script that won't let you in without the latest IE or NS you preclude the possibility of new better browsers. So soon you will have M$, AOL or nothing.
As a Mac user I always make sure to fill out my registration for hybrid CD software. If you don't, your purchase is counted as a Windows sale by default. I imagine all of you who bought the Windows version and downloaded the binary did a great disservice to the Lynx community.
We can safely assume that Apple will release Quicktime for OSX. At this point won't we be much closer to getting a Linux version? Or am I reading too much into this?
I don't have much perspective on what "pretty stable" is. After deleting all M$ contamination from my PowerBook running 8.6, I get one to two weeks between restarts/shutdowns. How does this compare to other systems out there?
It always strikes me as funny when people give out both the specs of their machine and the color of its case. When discussing desktop G3s, the two different generations have different feature sets and also distinctly different cases, one beige and one blue and white. So if you know Macs, this was relevant in this case.
OK.. The reason the texts are all the same is that during several periods in history if you had a different text they, killed you and burned your church. So pretty soon all the texts were the same.
Also I'm very excited about the possibility of Mac/Linux hybrid releases.
Aerospace electronics are well behind what you or I would consider cutting edge. There are still plenty of vacuum tubes flying the friendly skies. While this is certainly an improvement for the shuttle it is just an adaptation of technology currently used in airliners such as the 777. You betcha! New Macs are painfully high end, but there is a huge used and refurb market. Try these links: http://www.macresq.com/product/desktops.html http://www.lworld.com/prod02.htm
Well it't hard to decide what is cost effective without more details. Reinventing the wheel is never cheap. Do we really need to design a whole new system? Are we just silly? How much processing really needs to be done? I suggest something between a TRS-80 and a G4
Try Graphic Converter from lemkesoft.com This $30.00 shareware app is well worth the money.

Well of course he did.
And who told you this?
And don't you feel better "knowing" that they caught the bad guy?
Do you see a pattern forming?
It is an observable phenomenon the curvature of all threads leads eventually to Natalie Portman.
I wonder if it comes with the jacks that let the car jump over things or has the little kid and his monkey in the trunk?

I do love curling up in bed with a good PowerBook. Like I'm doing right now.
I don't think so. Get out your screwdriver and take another look. PPCs use much less power and don't need such sillyness.
NO

Well at least you wouldn't have the next update of the os break your software if it competes with one of theirs.
Can the DOJ have them nuked and be done with it?
