Your desktop likely has the same malware problems any android phone will have. Why? It's not a walled garden. Well, android is in a sense more of a walled garden than your desktop, however not nearly as much of one as iOS/WP. Android virus infections are the result of a pebkac, and nothing more. In other news, I was originally going to make a soviet Russia joke.

The fact that Siri is a service simply proves that it's an OS feature that's disabled on all models other than the 4S (sort of like how carriers disable tethering unless you pay extra, despite the device being perfectly capable of it without paying extra). Last time I checked the iPhone4 had a microphone, and last time I checked that's what Siri uses.

I'd imagine you posted Anonymously because you knew you'd be modded down to all hell for being a blatant KDE fanboy. I'm not going to deny the fact that the gnome developers are complete retards. They are. As for the build systems, you may or may not be right, I wouldn't know. Languages/toolkits? It's preference, plain and simple. Arguing "X" is better than "Y" is just plain retarded, what works for one person may be hell for another. That's a rule you can apply to most anything, including this (that isn't to say that I'd exactly want a DE written in slow-ass Java, but it could be done).

As for KDE from an end user point of view, I'd argue that while heading in a better direction than Gnome; it's still bullshit. If I want to bloat up my desktop, it'd be with something I could play [a large number of good] games on (see windows for more details).
Simply put: KDE looks pretty, just like GNOME. There's nothing an end-user can't do with KDE that they can't do with something as simple openbox.

My point being, functionality should come before eye-candy. The code behind it doesn't really matter to the end-user, and it never will. The brains (or lack there of) the developers matter much more than anything else.
Personally, I'm dualbooting Arch running XFCE, and Windows 8 (I'm a gamer, what can I say?)

Agreed, would one expect people who already own whatever it is you copyrighted and "locked away" to just toss it in a fire? People bought it, you can stop illegal distribution, but not legal distribution (like used copies.) You shouldn't have the right to take away something that you've given to people, it's theirs now. Period.
With that being said, why not just have a public announcement saying "hey guys, I'd appreciate it if you'd stop circulating [whatever], simply because I've had a change of heart." Another option would be to allow a refunding of returned products, but after all that money you made I doubt you'd want to do that. Simply put, think before you release.
