please let this drop diamond prices down to what they should be and force deBeers to find other ways to earn money like flipping burgers or whatever they have where they are
I suppose 'measured at the chip level' makes this less likely than running a Linpack app on a device, but couldn't the results still be fudged in some way?
I'm not up on Linpack's innards, but Linpack results given by ROM dev's were always held in great skepticism because a dev could cheat the results by boosting performance in specific areas to make the results look better than they should have been. Is this what they did here?
I'd more confident if the US had a higher standing in education, or a lower poverty rate, or lower infant mortality. But hey, one mans asshole is another....something like that.
It's probably "youth". My son breaks phones. Routinely. I'm pretty sure he'll grow out of it. Young people don't have full control of their arms yet or something.
Haha, yes. I know he was serious about that but the quote really sums up the thinking of the most dimwitted in our society who actually think in such simple terms.
Money DOES win elections when campaigns can repeatedly lie about pretty much anything aon the air and have it become truth in the eyes of the people when it gets repeated enough - doubly so when one network or other treats it like truth from the beginning.
Amazing how in this case the hobbyist's 'problem with regulation' isn't a 'well-deserved failure to compete for handicapped business' and therefore good for companies who can serve that market.
Great way to get some cred in prople who don't know squat about security. Cause people who know the products know how crap your products are, and, unfortunately, THEY DONT CONTROL THE MONEY.
What i don't understand is why in Avengers Loki used a device to actually break skin/eyeball to relay an eye scan remotely. it seems needlessly cruel. The little device could have easily taken a scan and sent the information instead of cutting into the guy's face. Was the guy going to have to give up an eye if he himself ever needed to get at the iridium?
Make the liner tubes out of used 20oz water bottles
so the 20-50 year estimate that never shrinks may actually get reduced some?
Someone mod this up.
So we require time machines to be able to deal with climate change. Hm. Might as well give up. Call BP and give them the keys to the Arctic!

Bloom boxes are the soylent green of the Data Center industry. Wait til we find out how they *really* work.
If you assume the universe is infinite than an infinite number of worlds are populated..
my midsection is also embarassingly parallel.

I do this and get more and more pissed everytime I have to yell "Agent" at it. My kids get a huge laugh out of it everytime too.

Haha it's like a single button press to do this. or do you only understand icons in apple-eze?
anyone claiming that Amazon is "harder" needs to be injured in some horrible way
The connector is called Lightning. ahahaha. What's the headphone jack called when it gets an upgrade?
I acutally said "BP and friends" - I figured that would cover them and the subcontractors subsequently.
Yes but it wasn't nature it was BP and friends so I'm not sure what you're posting about. BP screws up, BP pays. Pretty simple.
I wonder how far back scientific thought will be set back after this die-off?

it goes down like syrup of capecac and comes back up too
