Who needs a 2 Ghz P4 in the first place??

  2. Re:ADDENDUM on Who Controls The Linux Media ? · · Score: 1

Oh yeah and don't complain about people's self interests too much. Lest you forget you all have them yourselves.

  3. Aww I'd feel for ya but I can't reach you on Who Controls The Linux Media ? · · Score: 1

What's up with Linux geeks? The world isn't out to get you. Chill out. Ya conspiracy theorist.

Why are you so antsy about some other Linux site denying you anyway. I thought the whole idea was to strike your own path. Strike one. Don't rely on someone if they cut you off. Go a different way, and don't whine.

  4. Why this scares ME... on Nike Gets Sued Over Nike.com Hijack · · Score: 1

If this scares anyone it should be sane people that don't sit before computer monitors writing code all day, surfing the web all day, worrying about tech. stocks, pissing and moaning about Intel or Microsoft or commercialization, constantly checking email, needing "Bigger, better, faster!" technology, and just being a whiny weak willed repressed fool who sits around thinking that everyone else's actions should make some kind of impact on his life.

  5. THE WORLD IS FULL OF STUPID PEOPLE on ISPs Victimizing DoS Victims? · · Score: 1

I feel the ISP has the right to boot anyone. After all it's their equipment. They forked over the dough to buy it and maintain it. If they don't want someone messing with they have the right to cut the problem off at the root. If they go around chopping off service to people that do nothing but play cyber poker then that would start to reflect bad business practices. If, on the other hand, someone is attacking their system because a user made an, albeit unintentional, comment that pissed someone off, then I see no problem with denying that user. It's their world. Although they should also look into finding the people that did mess with their stuff. This dilemma is going to be around for a long time seeing as how the world is full of people that have nothing better to do than fulfill a self indulgent interest in beating up on others.

it's not even that ad thing that pisses me off it's the "we wanna keep an eye on you so you don't piss us off" excuse. we wanna moderate your life. we wanna tell you what you can and cannot say. it seems that when the internet gets bigger and bigger everything becomes even more subject to scrutiny and censors. just leave people alone you limp dick bastards. don't let other peoples lives have such a huge impact on yours, make your own life have its own impact.
