I find that people that care about other others beliefs, specific belief neutral, tend to.be dicks. The billboard you linked to is an example of not being a dick, and sending a positive message out. That doesn't really counter the fact that vocal atheists, like vocal theists, tend to be dickish about it.

if all the non dick Christians were presumed atheist, rather than non-dick atheists presumed Christian, the Christians would be hated I suspect.

Zealots are dicks pretty much universally I've found.

It's terrible with multi-monitor, relative to windows anyway.

add an external monitor to my left, It's automatically the primary, my plasma desktop and panels resize and move to it to my left. Ok, fine, I add a new panel (i actually like one on each monitor), but when I remove the monitor, my panels stack on top of each other on the laptop (right). Now when I re add the external monitor I have 2 panels on the left, on top of each other.

also, I've lost windows off screen and couldnt get them back on an unplug. It makes me miss windows.

Yes, the parody is protected and doesn't risk diluting a trademark. In fact It's specifically relating what should be generic (a window in computing) with their specific product, if anything it boosts their trademark.

If, on the otherhand there was a word to mean "used poorly thought out slides that made a presentation worse" and it was PowerPointed (i found an ms product with a non-generic name), MS would need to clarify that PowerPoint is a specific product and you could use OO impress to the same ill effect. I will say hen I look for old games I'd go to the underdogs (is that still around?) Or GoG, rather than try and mess around with the original myself.

The fact that valve will almost certainly be around for 5 years, and the DRM isn't platform limiting on playback (if I can run the game, I can run steam) makes it more palatable (so I eat the dogfood).

It's not like a movie, where I can buy/build a new whizbang device, and the DRM holds me back.

My biggest fear with steam is that they may remove games I've purchased due to backwards compatibility issues in a future os, but something like dosbox (or a more complete wine for windows or something) would let me play them.

Somebody said it above, and I think they're right.

A small touchscreen that talks to your phone over bluetooth. If I had a watch that displayed my caller ID on incoming calls, and could control my music I'd be content if it looked nice and was cheap (though, I doubt it would ever replace clocktwo in my heart). Add to it an app so that it can display texts, email (from and subject), battery life and whatever other status widgets I want, and clear them too, it'd be a nice companion to a phone.

The issues I see are battery life, and display. Unless it's high res e-ink with a dim light for dark (like an actual watch) I predict something that will suck in the sun, and be completely obnoxious in the dark. It will probably blank unless I look at it, but how good will it be at predicting if I'm peeking at it? I don't want to wear a watch that I need to reach over and push a button to light up and see.
