    equally silly argument to make against a government, some of whose members/staff will necessarily have access to information that should not be immediately available to the general public.
    The government works for me, I don't work for them. They are accountable to me. Giving the government a free pass to break their own laws is not acceptable.

    On a more serious note why are these douchebags even allowed to moderate based on their OS preference? There should be full accountability for moderators why are moderators allowed to hide behind their blue cloak of A/C. Speaking of A/C why are high karma people allowed to check the A/C box. If they are too ashamed of what they are saying they should not say it.

    I had to fix a friends computer the other day and all of his problems were directly related to the cache.
    Like the random gay fetish porn that would pop up on his desktop.
    The point is if he never went to the gay fetish site he never would have downloaded their movie player and got a virus.
    Then I would have never known (or his family wife and kids were kind of shocked) he liked gay fetish porn.
    I nailed down the virus by him telling me when the problem first occured (8:45 pm sunday) and then looking for files modified at that time. Which lead me to the cache.
    Now can you honestly say he didn't possess gay fetish porn? He went to the site and downloaded to player and by browsing to site collected many images in his cache.
    He's probably innocent of browsing gay porn right?

    The PS3 sucks just as bad as the Xbox...It just lasts slightly longer (hardware wise). And I can't play most DVD's on my PS3. Don't know why they just never worked right, BluRay works fine though.

    wow hours of trawling through forums right? You do know what google is, don't you?
    If you know what the xorg.conf is you know how to configure it and you are just trolling. Also Ubuntu makes it very clear that there is no root but the readme is probably as much effort as google.

    The point is that I've done it on the cheap, but not by using Ubuntu.

    I gave up, found the WinXP disc and had everything up and running in short order. Last I installed XP on a brand new AMD X2 2.8ghx took over two (2) hr to install then there was the configuring and installing the drivers took over 3 hrs total... Ubuntu on the very same computer took 15 minutes and I didn't have to install drivers. And Ubuntu is crap compared to some of the distros out there.
    And I bet that was a genuine licence copy you used. People like you are why I have to deal with authenticate windows bullshit. Oh hey I'll just pull out the old XP dick that I've installed on many different computers and bitch about Ubuntu because I can't set up a simple config file or bother to google how to set up config file.

    Parking brakes are not emergency brakes as they are sometimes called. Using your parking brake to try to slow down a speeding car is the stupidest thing a person can do. It will result in losing control of your car and injuring yourself and/or other motorists.
