  1. Re:The Ballot *was* confusing! on Statistics, Elections, Frustration · · Score: 1

    1) According to this logic (and I don't disagree with your point), people that were actually trying to vote for Buchanon may have accidentally voted for Gore. Slack in a flip-book goes both ways.

    2) If people weren't smart enough to find the polling station, their votes don't count either. At some point your own ignorance can infringe on your rights.

    3) Confusion is no excuse for an uninformed vote. They should have asked.

Seriously, one of the best lessons learned in college can be socialization. Interacting with your colleagues and still being responsible for work and accountable to testing. And the part about meeting girls is true. No one should be in THAT big of a hurry to get to the cubicle.

I got the 17K video working (also ATI Rage LT) by using VESA frame-buffering. The link given by theMissingLink is where I learned about it.

The frame-buffering FAQ has a sample config file for recompiling your kernel (2.2). I was able to follow this FAQ, rebuild a new kernel, edit my lilo.conf and frame-buffering worked on the first try.

I don't know if you're getting any of the advantages of the 3D accelleration, though.

also, 4Front is working on the ESS Maestro-2 sound card support.

Hemos point was not that his lack of a Zelda purchase would actually effect the Nintendo bottom line. It was, rather, that Nintendo could stand to sell more games by leaving emulation alone.
