Oh yeah those can be picked up for £500 here. But insurance is another £2000 a year, so that is a no-go. I spend most of my expendable income on monthly train passes anyway. Whoopee.
A friend, as well as myself, struggle with anxiety disorders. I considered going on SSRIs but he warned me against them. His experience was, yes it evens out your extremes, so no difficult periods of crippling anxiety. However, you are equally incapable of being very happy, the drug mainly working to, quite literally, level you. He said after months of use he felt like he was just going through the motions, everything was routine. He was not upset, sad or anxious, but he also never enjoyed anything. I decided against going on them. The alternative is to get a prescription for Valium or something like it, which has fewer such dramatic effects, though you will experience the onset of anxiety before you take them, so there is that, plus they are addictive so they must be taken with caution. I remain unmedicated, as I am trying to work it out without drugs for the time being.
This was my reaction to this story too. Furthermore, they should be charged for their time in the hospital, because it was idiotic, informed, and self inflicted.
It does affect your colon in some way though, because having a truly solid movement is rare if you put chili sauce on everything (or at least, very hot chilis like red savinas or jolokias).
It is true about the thrill chase though. Jalapenos used to be hot to me when I was a kid. Now, to get any sort of mild reaction I will need at least Habaneros, preferably red savina, or bhut jolokia. I usually cut some fresh jolokia into my curries, and I use a red savina sauce on my pasta/pizza lunch food.
This is my main concern too. I would not want to miss out on a fantastic job opportunity because of a drunken, non-PC blog comment written one night and promptly forgotten about.
Even rats are not the worst. I used to keep degus. They need to be kept in a steel cage because most other materials they will chew through. Anything put into the cage that was not solid ceramic or steel would be destroyed. This included the wooden level platforms built into the cage.
The stone you are referring to is a mineral stone, which serves two purposes: it is strong enough that they can gnaw on it for some time before wearing it down, and its composition contains lots of essential minerals that are good for their teeth. Like most rodents, their teeth are continually growing. This causes some interesting things to happen. Two little anecdotes:
One of my degus made a leap for freedom (they are very daring animals) out of my arms toward the cage, falling short, and slamming his face on the cage under where the door was. This completely knocked out one of his teeth. I kept an eye on it to see that it would not adversely affect him, but it did not. He used the one tooth he had, until the other grew back out. A friend of mine still keeps degus (well, just one left now) and a similar thing happened to his, though because one tooth was missing, the other was not wearing down properly (I think he was not gnawing enough) so the remaining tooth kept growing. Because of this, my friend had to get in there once a week with toenail clippers to cut the tooth down to size (something neither of them enjoyed). Eventually both teeth were the same size and it went back to normal life.
A lot of us will be thanking him for his fundamental contributions to computing.
I would hope that, were Jobs still alive, he would thank Dennis for OSX.
Depends on the jurisdiction I would think, but in the UK the Freedom of Information Act gives any person the right to demand to see any and all information held by a company about them (for a nominal fee to cover admin costs). This, AFAIK, is not limited to information you have directly given them,
That is a shame. Here in the UK it is fairly painless (though expensive) to get a Jap grey import. Speedo needs to be converted to MPH, but since Jap and UK both drive on the left there is little else that needs doing. Jap cars tend to run on cleaner fuels though, so unless you mess with the lambda and whatnot you might need to buy the more expensive fuels.
Having said that, finding a clean Hatchi (or even just finding one for sale) now is nigh impossible. I would love to have owned one but it seems I am too late in the game.
Yes, I agree it is quite a job they have taken upon themselves, and showing enough results to keep the public confidence will be difficult. However, certain things that Clegg swore he would provide, he has gone against, such as the student fees (not saying I was for or against that, just that he really went against his own word on that one). I think the general public has lost all faith in the LD, which is dangerous in turn because it took both Tory and LD votes to make the coalition, and if lost LD votes go to Labour we could very well be looking at Mr Miliband in a few years' time.
Doubtful. Nick Clegg has proven time and time again that, since forming the coalition, he is nothing but a lapdog. If the coalition are gonna hurt this bill it will need the full backing of the Tories.
My thesis/dissertation software was written with BFAI. Thankfully it was not big enough for this to hamper performance, but the source code was an absolute eyesore. I was not proud of it, but towards the end it was more a matter of getting something done. At least no users would ever need to use it. I have not half-assed a project since.
I would absolutely agree. The two are not even comparable. The RX-7 was a proper beast, an enthusiast's car, loads of fun. The 8 has found its place among hairdressers and estate agents. No real petrolhead (that I know of) drives one. If they brought back something similar to the 7 I would be more interested.
Like this?...

Sadly not an option for me at the moment :( This economy is not so kind to graduates.

Just anecdotes, but my fluid intake remains the same as when I eat food without capsicain in it.
I have seen the hiccup effect on others but to this day I have never experienced it myself, despite consuming the same food as aforementioned.

To be fair to Mr. Gates, he was a programmer, and a creator of sorts. Maybe not in his later years but he did start there.
Are you a fireman?

Correct, both EU law and UK law give you this right.

Read the subject line. The parent simply listed good questions (relevant questions) the OP should have asked, and should ask in the future.
..with girls, or in any social situation. I would agree.

You americans.. Here in the UK you won't afford to run an RX-7 until you are 25 at least...
Was it a 1986 Corolla? Or was it an AE86 Corolla? I only ask since you mentioned he did it up like the Trueno.
