The way i remember the line being delivered by the great Jason Lee, it was without the (!)exclamation point. Sorry about the nitpicking, but the public needed to know.:)
Isn't this exact sort of thing supposed to be remedied by the advent of more advanced television broadcast? The things I hear most about are in the very new future, and actually being tested in small viewing areas, are the abilities for the viewer to choose the camera angles of sporting events they are watching, or to go along with whatever the producer has chosen at that time. Am I wrong in assuming that we already have the technology for this, that it only needs to take hold with consumers and producers alike and there you would have your ability to make pro-gaming mainstream because it could then have an audience.
Yes, we watch people compete in this incredibly boring sport where nothing dramatic ever happens, and we love it. Why? Because over time (i would guess 50+ years) this has become "tradition", we know a lot about cross-country skiing, we do it ourselves, and we love to watch it.
thats not worth it to the company...what, the condoms will get used by them every 15 or 20 seconds, hence, no advertising....and yes, i understand the joke about the movie part.
I have had it come to my attention that the Wright brother's first flight was less a use of technology, but rather just the exploiting of basic physical principles. Every advancement on flight beyond their first experimental model could then be considered technology I suppose, but I contend that the first flight was merely a General Physics 101Lab [perhaps 102Lab =)]experiment that happened to work.
Serious note: What precisely is the definition of a quantum computer? Its kind of difficult to explain, and perhaps something that guy's great-grandpappy might have had fun going on for a few pages on explaining "objectively".
Not-so-serious note: Wouldn't it take the power of a quantum computer to build/use/understand output of a quantum computer?
I'm sure you're aware of it. As I'm sure someone else has thought it, perhaps posted it(excuse me for not reading the entire reply list). But I'm almost certain there are more people involved in making a movie than just a director. Sure Peter Jackson gets some credit for helping make these movies, but when you cite parts of movies that are adaptations of emotion, I contend that its more actor performance and musical overtures at work.
Finally, after a couple hours of contemplation and reading the other replies I have devised my most witty reply possible.
Get ready.
What if, instead of fuel being denied, it was in fact landing space being denied. Imagine the situation where he was denied passage onto either of the bases there and forced (by force[I love english] if necessary) to crash land elsewhere. I think that in my world things would be looked at differently, don't you?
Yeah, my American Calculus can't hold up to this sort of dividing. :-)
Please, next time you ask a question regarding the wording of a topic, include the entire quote with context.

Just so long they have access to their Everquest servers, I'm sure they won't complain.
That would kill him!

This (unfortunately?) does not apply to golf.

The Jews are the ones pinned for "pinning" Jesus to a cross.
