I actually thought I accidentally went to facebook when it first loaded.
Every other time they redesigned the site, it was pretty easy to shrug it off. This redesign is horrible.
Emergency VNC to servers at data center: iphone over BB.
SSH to servers: Not sure. Does BB have a decent SSH client? if it does, I can see it's keyboard being a major plus. The iphone can do the job, but it's damn painful to use.
In this case, I picked an iphone, mostly because I was sure software for remote maintenance was available. (Also, it was $400 cheaper in the short-term than the phone I really wanted)
Using the css "exploit". You create a list of links that load a specific background image on the "visited" style. Your browser happily goes and loads those images on anything that's in your history.
Just nit-picking here, but that's a bad assumption. Opera is just a bit more picky than firefox is. For example, recently xkcd.com didn't render in Opera because during an update, they forgot to close their title tag.
Because of how unforgiving Opera is, I tend to test in it first. The end result usually runs in firefox first try.

They probably should have used a unit other than percent for such a knob. It's not a stereo.
IP Geolocation isn't always accurate. One of my IPs shows me in a city 200km away. (I suspect that ISP has some shitty routing)
Sure you can. Next you'll be telling us that you've built a mnemonic memory circuit with stone knives and bear skins...

Shouldn't it be: KITTEH SEZ, "Hai!"
Take the Kings Quest "The Silver Lining" as an example. They got permission from Vivendi Universal, only to have permission revoked years later.
