    Now I'm saying anyone who buys a Tesla is a complete idiot.

    Do you refuse to buy software if it offers both an Open Source license and a Commercial license at different prices with different usage restrictions?

    Tesla is selling software as well as hardware, and it sounds like they are going to offer different software licensing terms to different buyers. As long as these terms are spelled out upfront, and don't become more restrictive over the lifetime of the car, I will make my decision based on actual costs and benefits to me.

    You idiot. A quick look at the Wikipedia history tab shows you the sentence "He is a Democrat" was added on 2 September by "Honestmedia" with no source referenced. Who, exactly, is altering reality now?

    Now I expect a full apology! Or you can just alter your previous post to exclude your little false rant, which I'm sure you'd have to moral qualms doing.

    That was actually the Russians. After they hacked the emails, they tried to make it look like a staffer did it. Bonus points for making it look like the Clinton campaign put the hit out. Pretty smart, eh?

    Then what, exactly, is your proposed solution? If I had a dime for every time I heard, "It's a family structure problem," I'd have a lot of dimes. But what is the follow-up sentence? Always: Nothing at all.

    Being labeled as authentic will certainly raise the bidding price on the auction. Is Snowden actually ShadowBrokers? Does he get a cut from the auction?

    Why else is he engaged in a timely marketing campaign to authenticate the software? I would think he could have waited until after the sale, unless we really wanted to boost the price.

    If this doesn't require the Y chromosome, then it could pave the way for female-only reproduction.

    I'm male, but I have no qualms with the continuation of our species being without the Y chromosome (males). It's not an affront to my gender identity to wonder if the future would be better off that way. I'm not talking about killing off the males; just not making any more.

    We should keep some male sperm frozen behind a glass door: "Break in case of extreme reproductive emergency."

    Kill switches for phones worth over $200? If the only resell-able phones thieves nabbed were flip phones and Blackberries, this law would have almost the same effect. And the rest of us paranoids can keep buying the $199 phone, or even my $11.50 (Free Shipping) Nokia off eBay.

    And for all of those arguing that the government, with this new kill switch, would only NOW be able to massively shut down communication: What makes you think they can't do so today with broadcast tower and network control? And why would the NSA kill-switch the phone of a "person of interest" who they are actively listening in on?

    I've tried the beta. I've even tried to love the beta. I made it work for a while. I clicked the buttons, did the scrolling. And then I noticed I didn't want to visit Slashdot as often.
