I watched them drinking the Kool Aid in the comments after the "burning platform" memo... I couldn't believe their credulity when they were told Qt was still central to Nokia's business strategy. Most obvious lie ever, total non sequitur to the WP7 OEM contract and the cancellation of their next Linux smartphones. Seriously could not believe the Trolls were buying that crap, and now we find out Nokia was obviously negotiating this sale, or probably even finalizing it, at the very moment the Trolls were being lied to.
As a former Shadowrun GM, I can only facepalm. Either roll with Sleaze or do your decking with a disposable deck. And remember: when the ICE rezzes, your MAC address is already forfeit.
I'm a tinfoil hat wearing freak on my worst days, but any fear of this project is trumped by my William Gibson fanboy-isms and my desire to keep my career moving long after Carpal Tunnel Syndrome cripples my hands.
In all seriousness - does this announcement constitute a good reason to start working on the scaffolds for a new DNI-based X desktop?

1 - I agree strongly with everybody saying this woman had better suffer the same backlash a male would over such behavior.
2 - Unless the gender inequality is the motivation of this "news" item, I'm pretty sure we are the wrong target market for this story.
