Why install millions of telescreens nationwide when they can just use existing equipment that is already in place in much of the world? Its very cost effective. Big Brother isn't stupid. I'm ready to give up now. Its only a matter of time until we're all under complete control of the government, whatever it is..!
I got a rio in december, the 32mb model. It was alright for sticking sound clips on and maybe some songs for my friends to listen to, but I'm sick of it now. Any portable MP3 player needs to be able to hold at least 1GB of mp3s and record and encode on the fly too, and be able to play CDs and MP3 CDs and have a built-in AM/FM radio and a back-lit 3" color LCD display that you can watch TV on, and which shows the artist, song name, genre, etc, its gotta support ID3v2 and be able to play wavs and midi files and all other formats including text files using text to speech hardware.. must be flash upgradable too.
Massive amounts of radiation!

Soon we'll be requiring licenses from people like the FCC to own a computer due to the amount of RF and other sorts of radiation they'll be giving off. It'll be unlikely we'll be allowed to build our own machines as well. Oh well.
duh
you're all dumbasses. PB == PowerBook
/. smells like ass.
Signal 11: shut up queer. you're a sorry-ass motherfucker.
1. OS 9.0 didn't sell well.
2. There aren't many mac users with cable modems because we are all poor from buying overpriced hardware.
3. See #1 and #2
no big deal.
huh?
My home network is all g3's running OS9. Personally I have no desire to attack any DOS boxes. Does anyone actually use DOS anymore?
life exists no where else in this universe, and in a few decades, it won't exist here either. who cares.

I'm happy thats all over. I kind of preferred that one anyway, but I liked the old one more.
