    Why not use both? Install both of them, install a program like selectwm, and choose which wm to use. This way, if you get tired of using one, you can easily switch to another. No big deal.

    I agree with you not to blame MICROS~1. Blaming them is like blaming a glass manufacturer for when a robber breaks a window, and steals your tv. Blame the damn virus writer! And blaming the sys admins is like blaming the owner of the house because he/she does not know that the glass they bought with the house is NOT bullet proof.

    Put blame where blame is due!

    The difference between Adult stem cells, and embryonic stem cells is that embryonic stem cells can be made into ANY type of cell, heart, lung you name it. Multi-purpose. Adult stem cells already have the type of cell it is. One purpose. Thats why they use embryonic.

    So, you are saying that my web site, here in the US, has to abide by Chinese laws, and I am punishible under Chinese laws? HAHAHA thats the funniest thing I've heard! Granted, if one of my servers were in China, of course I would have to go by their laws. But to say the server that sits here in US is subject to other countries laws, is ridiculous, and unconstitutional.

    Nope, you are wrong. Embassies are little pieces of the country they represent, surrounded by the host country. The US Embassies are regarded as pieces of US soil surounded by the host country. And as such, blowing up a US embassy is like blowing up a federal building her on North America. Blowing up an Embassy is an act of war. This, however, is something completely different. Yahoo should not have to abide their US servers under French, or anybody elses laws. If they have to abide by Frances laws, does that mean any company doing business in China has to subject their American web servers to draconian Chinese censorship laws, and be punished accordingly? No.

    What I am saying, is that they can (and will) use it to gain knowlege of your goings on, and then use that knowlege to gain legally admissible evidence. Sorta like tapping your phone line without a warrant, and using that knowlege to find admissible evidence. Thus leaving the court out of it. Trust no one.... The Boston Tea Party was over a 2% Tax.

    Just because the Supremes deemed this technological use as illegal by authorities, does not mean that they will not still use it. They just can't enter it into evidence. But by gaining knowlege thru these devices, can gather other evidence to be used against you.

    The massive drop in the stock portfolio, now could it? naaaaa, that would be too easy. It's all Napster's fault. Yep, that's it. It's all them wiley college students, for the love of god, TRADING music! Couldn't have been all those high-tech layoffs now either. Nope, it's, yep you guessed it, Napster's fault. Used to be they went after people for copyright infringement that SOLD bootleg music for a PROFIT. Not any more. The very act of giving now has become illegal. Imagine that, you can't even GIVE music to somebody. Now if that isn't messed up, I don't know what is... great spirit help us all....

    hmmm... ok, you just contradicted yourself by saying share music online that you have NO RIGHT to distribute, but still respect the copyright. Copyright includes the right NOT be be copied or distributed. There is no 'opt-in'.

    They (in one form or another) have ALWAYS tried to thwart new technologies. Radio, cassette tapes, VHS tapes, DAT tapes, you name it, if its a new technology, they will protest against it, and try to stop it because it goes against the status quo. One would think they would learn after 100 years that new technologies SELL MORE in the long run!! bastards....

    There are things Qt in particular does better than Motif: it is nicer to program with, for example. As a language, Motif does show its age. However, that doesn't make a hoot of difference when you have an end product to produce.

    So, he's saying that QT is better to program with, but hey, it really doesn't matter if Motif sucks to try to write a program with, and it's really not going to take longer, or be worse off because of that fact. Not to mention, its going to make your application look butt ugly while you're at it.

    No, bgates has his drone borglettes run the system that controls the lawn mower, which, incidentally, runs Win CE, and just as often stalls with too much wet grass as the OS crashes. That time it BSOD' itself into the pool.... wow, was a mess!
