What the hell is a V4? aren't most 4 cylinders not V's? One is the economy model, it's a V4 engine and no extras. The other is the luxury model, which is a V4 engine with gold-plated spark plugs and automatic everything.

interesting.. so does that mean any 'mac os' isnt an OS because it doesnt ship with free cell... I would almost buy that :) --- Interesting...So if I need to relax in order to remain productive, and I relax by playing freecell, therefore freecell is part of the OS. Every essentially maintains that any software that is shipped with the kernel, no matter how irrelevant, is part of the OS.

Did it occur to just me that Every is stupid stupid stupid? Come on.. UNIX OS's arent OS's because they are just a kernel with some stuff on top but mac OS X is an OS because its a unix kernel with a bunch of stuff on top marketed ask separate components.. I suppose one must consider what the target audience is for macs and consider the cultish way mac fans cling to their computers/os and declining apple stock.. I swear some people will say anything to justify their os/hardware of choice.. although whats sad is something that ignorant was allowed to be widely circulated..

If you think they are going about it in the wrong manner you are free to send them your two cents.. but overall to me the concept seems like a good idea.. I never liked the way warrenties are presented anyway.. they should force them to be written in plain english and have a law that says that the average consumer must be able to read and understand the warrenty within 10 minutes or receiving it, else its too complicated.

first, its been commonplace for people to buy CDs, records, or tapes after hearing a song on the air.
and its commonplace for people to be disappointed with the cd they bought that only had one of two good songs out of 18 or so.. thats why I personally don't buy much music.. its not worth $10+ for a cd with 2 good songs no matter how good those 2 are or how good the cover art etc is..

yes but printing it yourself is more expensive than actually buying it at barnes and nobel on sale.. burning a cd off downloaded music basically costs the price of a blank cd (>$.50) considering you probably would pay for the internet connection and the cd burner anyway.. - i can download a copy of any of shakespeare's worrks TODAY FOR FREE from PROJECT GUTENBURG - but i still go out to amazon to order a copy. why? i COULD download it and print it myself on my inkjet printer, but it would cost me more to download and print then to buy a copy that's already nicely packaged by a bookseller. in essence - the 'data' of the book is free, but i'm paying for more than just the content, i'm also paying for the convenience (over printing on my own inkjet), and the PRESENTATION.
