OK, OK, somehow people still don't get this. Know what the Qu'ran is? It's the Old Testament, it's the Torah. Same goddamn thing, same words, just a different translation. Allah, Yahweh, God, all are words for the same thing. It's kind of hard to think that Jews are Satan incarnate when you worship their god under a different moniker. And yes, this is also based on fact, since I know several Muslims, none of whom support terrorism, and none of whom hate these other religions. Really, this is NOT ISLAM! It's fundamentalism, basically a word for using religion falsely to support your personal vendetta against something. There are Christian fundamentalists too, and yet I don't see you lumping all Christians together as a group that hates Jews or kills people. To be more precise, it will end on Dec. 21, 2012. Even more suprising is the fact that everyone I work with finally gets our additional vacation time on...Dec 21, 2012! I think our CEO is in league with those Mayans, X-Philes, and the Aliens. We're all doomed to have the world end without getting to use our additional time! Damn aliens...
I quite agree. After becoming a rather religious X-Files fan around the third season, I always thought that Carter had a plan in mind. That plan seems to have ended during the "Full Disclosure" clifhanger episode of a few years back. After torching the Consortium, who lent a great sort of cloak and dagger mystery to the show, Carter seemed to lose focus with the show, and had absolutely NO clue as to where to take the series. I mean, losing Mulder, and now Scully, and giving us two good episodes, and then about a month of standalone, completely random, eps. He also left a TON of things unexplained. How about the oil rig? Why exactly was the Black Oil under the sea, and how did it get there? I know some of you will think I forgot the fact that the spot is about where the Doomsday asteroid supposedly hit to wipe out the dinosaurs. But, to just kinda leave the story with the Oil hanging there, seems very short-sighted on Carter's part....really, I think Gish is a great actress (see SLC Punk for more of her), but she couldn't replace the early Scully...if Carter is trying to restart the series, this won't work...Sorry Chris

I know this'll get flamed, but dmatos has a point. Why the hell dont we attach some sort of engine (nulcear, maybe?) to the asteroid, and just have it piloted back to NEO, and just mine it out, and use the shell and engine for another trip to another asteriod. Anyone here ever seen the Star Trek episode with the asteroid ship Yonata (sp?). I think it's called "For The World is Hollow and I Have Touched the Sky." Isn't that within our technological range? With the asteroid being in a NEO, we don't have to spend the exorbitant sum to put it in orbit on the first place! Think about it, people!

i mean....we've been waiting for Diablo II for what, like 2 years?? GET IT OUT ALREADY! and I agree with the part about it being Gauntlet without the action....Gauntlet: there was a game...how about a Windows/Linux port now?
