    I'd say that those senators who support "free speech zones" are clearly enemies of the constitution.

    I support a free speech zone - it's called the United States.

    I support a rather larger one.

    I mean if they are "exempt" from being spied on it seems logical the "terrorists" would become members of congress and avoid being spied on.

    For example a corrupted or coerced judge could easily keep a serious terrorist from being convicted.

    You're living in fantasy land.

    To a first approximation there are no terrorists.

    A corrupt judge that the NSA has the drop on could be used to convict anyone they want to convict.

    Our client base is primarily in West Vancouver BC - the richest municipality in Canada. The kind of town where a $3 million house is a "starter", and will immediately be pulled own to build a 20,000 ft McMansion.

    In many years of working with clients in WV, I can recall TWO that actually ever turned on their alarms, and would estimate that half of our clients don't even lock their doors.

    If nothing else they demonstrate that Vancouver's criminal class is either really dumb, or can't afford a bus pass.

    Or maybe the clients have blown all their money on the McMansion and there is nothing inside worth stealing?

    Your problem comes from your rather limited definition of "Socialism".

    Libertarian Socialism existed long before the current American misunderstanding of "Libertarianism", which is closer to what the rest of the world calls "Liberalism".

    I've actually moved quite a bit from the left to the center over the years.

    And if asked, I say I'm a Libertarian Socialist. Keeps the scratching their heads for a moment while I run away from another useless political argument.

    I don't undestand. What's so strange about being a Libertarian Socialist? It's a perfectly understandable position, and a lot closer to the original sense of "libertarian" than the normal American usage, which is what most people in the world describe as "liberal".

    N14 is 7 protons + 7 neutrons. Add a neutron to that and you've got N15 (7 protons + 8 neutrons).

    To get to C14 from N14 you've got to turn a proton to a neutron. (Carbon has 6 protons. C13 has 6 protons and 7 neutrons, C14 has 6 protons and 8 neutrons).

    Roughly speaking proton + electron <-> neutron, so

    N14 + beta <-> C14

    Obviously you could get from C13 to C14 by neutron capture, but that's not what we're talking about here.

    or am I dumb?

    The problem with republicans claiming to be against redistribution while benefiting from it isn't that redistribution is wrong, it's that the hypocrisy is irritating.

    A lot of things should be hated and a lot of things should be loved. One of the purposes of free speech is to determine which is which. If "incitement to hatred" is the problem, would I be prosecuted for inciting hatred of the death camps?

    Incitement to hatred of people.

    Anyway, don't bother arguing with me about it. It's the citizens of Germany who decide what is and what is not allowed in Germany, not some random internet loser.
