The plane is designed to land, be refuled and checked and then up in the air again in ten minutes with the aid of one technician and five conscripts (varnpliktiga). According to the gripen person who told this the record is about four minutes. This makes it possible to fly one more mission with the gripen during the time other planes wouldn't have left the ground...
My first impression is (after I've been using 0.9 for 5 minutes) is that it is in deed faster, but still has a lot of bugs to be fixed (and some new introduced)
For example:
javascript window.status and a:hover still don't seem to go well together...
an other nasty thing that bugs seems to be animated transparent gifs...
It has (if they didn't fix it lately) one big disadvantage, it isn't reliable on SMP boxen... (I think it was something about locking that was missing)
But it looks promising though...
What kind of sick joke is this?
It's an absurd form of security by obscurity... those who do illegal stuff will continue, but all honest people will not have any chance to stop it...
this makes me sick... urk...
you should only be concerned if they are storing private information on their PC
Hmpf... ALL information on my PC is private unless otherwise stated...
Is Apache/1.3.12 (Unix) PHP/4.0.1pl2 mod_ssl/2.6.5 OpenSSL/0.9.5a (on an old 486:) )
Although it took a couple of compiles to get it to work correctry...
I kept getting strange errors when I tried to look at https-pages with Netscape (Although IE went well, and Netscape on "usual" pages) (netscape crashed with an error in "the security subsystem")
It looks like Apache (or mod_ssl or php4) (at least the versions I used) aren't 100% compatible. But the problem disappered when I changed the order of --with-module=php, --with-module etc to apaches autoconf script (don't remember which combination finally did work...)
/droid
PS. I did try Apache-SSL as well... but that didn't even compile:(
Nice, I'd like one...
But they only ship to USA and Canada so I'm not able to order one.... (on the other hand... for that price... almost $100... just me who thinks thats too much?)
One use could be that you can detect supernovas before they are visible (before the electromagentic rays from a supernova comes a neutrino burst (no, they aren't traveling faster than light, but the neutrinos can travel straight through matter when radiation (eg. light) must interact (don't know if this is the right word) with the matter (the matter absorbs the light, one electron "jumps" to a higher energy level, the electron "jumps" back and the radiation travels on (with a slight delay))) (but this is propably scientiststuff;-) )
One other thing is that (if neutrinos do have mass) is that they could explain some of the "lack " of matter in the universe (often referred to as Dark Matter) (scientist stuff again)
But... he states that he will reach the speed of approx. 1.4km per second (four times the speed of sound in air). But to get out of the earth's gravity he will need the speed 11.2km/h (if i recall physics correctly). But a quite interesting project anyway (I'd like to see some pictures of his rocket...)
One example is the Swedish municipalities Habo and Håbo http://www.habo.se/ ...

well... I'll investigate more tomorrow...

How the hell would they be able too keep track of all my postings if I can't myself...

Use bar or atm instead...
We've lost cabin pressure...

I might be wrong, bu shouldn't it be
Pentium (P5-4) - On-board L2 cache
instead of
Pentium (P5-4) - On-board cache
(and so on...)
Didn't even the 486 have a minimal amount of cache in it's chip (8Kb L1?)
