  1. Oh really? on Microsoft Seeks Another OS-Level Adware Patent · · Score: 3, Insightful

And here I was thinking that was considered 'BAD' by security vendors, et al. Now MS is getting a patent for what looks to me like a OS supported Trojan Horse? Lovely. Yet another reason why I have 1 copy of windows at my house, for games, that's not connected to any network while it's on, and my other 12 systems run linux. Thank Linus for choice.

  2. SHUT UP!!! on Richard Stallman Proclaims Don't Follow Linus Torvalds · · Score: 2, Funny

Would someone please shut Stallman up? I'm sick to death of him pushing GNU/Linux? WTF? Who gives a rats ass if it does or does not have GNU in front of it? Seriously? This argument is not only childish it's pointless. He's a complete idiot and nothing he says has ever done anything more that make my teeth itch like fingernails down a chalk board. The difference between Free Software and Open Source is slightly more than the spelling. But not much. My god man, get over yourself and take your ego with you when you leave.

Bloody idiotic egomaniac. This is the exact same kind of fundamentalist zealotry that wants to destroy Christianity and anything other than what Allah wants, does anyone else see that?

  3. WTF? on MTV to Invest Over $500 Million in Video Games · · Score: 1

MTV has $500 Million to spend on ANYTHING? Damn.

  5. Neural nanonics anyone? on Brain Cells Fused with Computer Chips · · Score: 1

Hmmm, I smell the Reality Dysfunction. Peter F. Hamilton must be some kind of genius. :D Actually I think this is really going to be how the next generation of scientific achievements will be made. Unless of course someone develops rejuve clinic. It takes so long to gelt to the point of being an expert on technology these days that by the time someone is ready to push the envelop they are at or near retirement age and can't push themselves to that next level.

  6. Re:Good AV database searchable on A Searchable Virus Database? · · Score: 1

I have searched by symptoms before on there. It's not the best way to search (obviously), but it does work.

  7. Good AV database searchable on A Searchable Virus Database? · · Score: 3, Informative

This is the one I always have bookmarked. It seems to be the most comprehensive database on the Internet.

  11. What it boils down to: on Music Industry Staggers While Film Industry Blooms · · Score: 1

Here's the bottom line on this: The music industry is continuing to inundate us with GARBAGE (not the band) for music. How much more Backstreet Boys, O-Town and Britney can America stand? If it isn't them is a knockoff of them. Remember the end of the 80s? It was the same deal with all the bloody hair bands. Then Nirvana came along and gave us a kick in the ass. That's what music needs now. Otherwise I'll continue to download the songs I want to hear.

  12. Please.... on AOL Developing Cheap Switch for Audio Streaming · · Score: 1

This is just another futile attempt from AOL to grab on to the and I quote "millions and millions" of people who got wise to their crap.

  13. Mach 2.1? on NASA Prototype Plane Scheduled To Attempt Mach 5+ · · Score: 1

Have you people already forgotten about the SR-71 Blackbird? The top speed on that aircraft was Mach 3.3.

  14. Reflections on age. on Ask Metallica About Napster · · Score: 1

I recall a time when the music you played was _music_. Good Old thrashing, throw yourself against the wall type music. Now you call what you do _art_. I don't get it. You knwo they say age changes people, but I never thought it would happen to the most innovative band of the '80s. How is it possible that you have lost focus of what drives this world? CHANGE IS INEVITABLE. Those who do not adapt will die. How have you forgotten that? Your fans will never forget this. Embrace the future, don't cling to the past. That's what made you the band you are.
