Well, actually most cars manf. do claim certain milage in the city, and in the country. Plus if you keep your car tuned (read have a good heat sink/fan) and you don't race at the lights (read try and run unnecessary applications when CPU cycles are needed) then you will get the claimed milage. Is Ford/GM/Nissan/BMW/Mercedes...et al... wrong to include airbags and ABS because (say) 99.9% of drivers don't crash? If AMD turned around tomorrow and announced a u-beaut overheating handling CPU thingy, how many would jump on AMD for deception?

What is even more interesting is that our LINUX friends have failed to notice the clear choice to terminate the APPLICATION - i.e. the operating system has not crashed - an application has (and it has NOT brought down the OS as the a popular misconception.)

What is this fascination with not having rebooted the OS for months - would it not be more environmentally friendly to shut your machines down once in awhile and go outside and smell the flowers and listens to the birds, play with your kids/parents take your SO out for a picnic.

The real issue about the US eccletic electrol system is that they/we (as a expat US living in Australia) are paranoid that the Communist will take over. Therefore by having such a crazy mismash of voting systems would make it impossible to actually take full control of the country.
