Ah. In another post on this topic, some wrote that they 'felt' they had a 50%-98% chance of first detection. And hey, this is teh internet. If a feeling's been published, we should all run with it.
I'm a Mac user from the 512K days. Last new Mac I bought was a Power Computing clone. Sure, it had more issues than my Quadra 650 (still running) and it didn't last as long as a friend's similar 8400, but I got more processor for the price.
Currently, I pick up used Macs and sometimes, refurbs from the Apple store. With the price of new Macs where it's at, and not having the option of a mini-tower Mac, sure, I'll build myself a clone if they open up OS X to non-Apple hardware.
Oh man, I haven't listened to that for years. 'Course, it's on an old cassette tape from early 80's. I really gotta' upgrade my music collection to CD.
It's not very good for swatting flies. Biomedical Chromatography rolls up real nice and fits the hand perfectly. At least it does, if your hand is the same size/shape as mine. So yeah, I can see a 12 rating for PRL.
Um... allows Sean Connery and Roger Moore to take over an off shore oil platform in a more exciting... idiom?

To the Wikipedia!
We actually have a very good feel for how close we are at any given time to finding it.
Higgs Boson senses *tingling*?
So, what you are saying is... ?
It'll consume the derivatives trading black hole?
Oh don't bring cats into it. Next thing you know, you're herding them (or not herding them) and either way, it's a big, fat, hairy mess.
Then that would result in a 'didn't find it' result?
Tell me about it. I'm stuck to a SMAC window using about 1/5 of my monitor.
I've been playing SMAC/X continuously since it came out. Was lucky enough to find a carbon version of the game so I can play it on my Intel Macs.
Cool thing is daughter's almost old enough to start playing. Her reading skill have to get just a little better and she'll be ready to go. Cool!
Now, if I was a real fan, I'd go and create my own version of the game, with new factions/graphics/sounds. Oh well; I'm lame.
Oooh, low number guy has spoken! :-)
Once your cloning vats kick in, you're golden!
It's the Emo comets that really piss me off.
Cars are a pretty dangerous impact hazard on Earth.
Have Yahoo buy MSN?
I like my wife's sagging economies.

Pink Floyd-A Saucer Full of Secrets album? Man, that line's going through my head but I can't quite attach it to anything.
Getting laid in Croydon; is it worth it?
Heh. Us old folks remember porn from before usenet and those darn cute Giffy Girls.

Traci Lords?
What do they do?
Or rather, what's their place in the big scheme of things?
Yup!
You an point it at your peener or hoo-haa. Video chat would get real interesting. Maybe come up with small faces...
