We're telling our customers (large corp. with site wide XP license) to pickup new machines in the next few months, so we can image them with XP. Word's come down that come June, our license terms with MS change and we won't be able to 'downgrade' vista machines after that.
I liked Bull Durham, Tin Cup, and Dances with Hooves. Can't really see anyone trying to do a sequel to any of them but with Hollywood, never count out the stupidity.
Naw, Footfall! I wanna' see Michael take off and fry alien baby elephant ass!
Or Ringworld. It's a straightforward enough story (crash land, have to escape, fights and sex scenes) with great SF graphic scenes. Is something majority of population could 'get' without straining a brain cell.
I can also see C. J. Cherryh's Foreigner series being a long arc tv show like B5 or Firefly.
Star Trek is turning into a Shakespeare kind of production. Within 50 years, they'll be discussing who's Kirk or Spock is better and then Trouble With Tribbles will be performed in the park every 4th of July.
I have 750 GB of backed up DVD movies for my Apple TV. Sure, another 1 TB drive will work for backup for now, but I'll hit the limits of a single drive for my collection in the next few months (just got both seasons of ROME and all of Deadwood for Xmas).
Is like how Verizon has crippled phones on it's service. I hate having to pay through the nose to get a photo off the beast. Is one reason I will be picking up an iPhone once my Verizon subscription is finished.
I still have my Quadra 650 (33Mhz 040), maxed out on RAM/HD/Vidio card. Machine's never died on me and I just can't bring myself to toss it. Hell, it fires up PShop 2.5 faster than my Dual G5 tower.
Good old hardware shouldn't be tossed. If I can find enough desk space at home, I'll set it up for my daughter to play Lemmings and Marathon I.
Never used DOS. Took Intro to DOS as a Freshman and, since no intro to Mac, Desktop Publishing I on Mac. 4 weeks in, we were still renaming and moving files in DOS and were working on a newspaper in DTP class. Dropped DOS class.
Mac OS7 had a way of creating a RAM disk from installed RAM. Was sweet way to run Photoshop at top speed back then, along with the dedicated Photoshop video card. Such specialization back then.
You mean Blue Space Lobsters.

Hmmm... Highland Park Whisky, Black Bush Whiskey, and Bulleit Bourbon Whiskey.
All good!
Ideally, it'd be 2 almost 2hour long movies, similar to the extended LotR movies. But not a sciffy channel mini-series. Please, God, not that!
Hah!
Kenneth Branaugh as Kirk?
Sweet!

And OS X/ OS X Server.
Homer: "Why do you look like Caesar Romero?
Hallucination: "Because you do not know what Caesar Chavez looks like."
I like parties. I like to get drunk and take my pants off. Maybe start a fire or go yell at the dolphins at Sea World.

The one cool thing about Kevin Costner; refuses to ever do a sequel. Wish others in Hwoodland did that.

I thought it took all Mac user's cancer and gave it to Steve?
Unless you're filming a bike with cards stuck in the spokes.
And that famous love scene.
Aaaaaaugh!
Word 5.1a rocks!
(on my old, pre-10.5 Mac)
*sigh*

Concerning all the confusion MS put out with the Zune and other music services: MS iPod Parody

Ooh, those are good!
Darn it! Will have to stop on way home now.
Like that lady trying to win a Wii for her kids by drinking water?
