Why are you using a DVD? Slap it on a flash drive and go on your way. Nearly every motherboard out there supports boot from flash, and on top of that you can download the Win7 ISO directly from MS with the service packs pre-installed and are unlikely to have the driver issues that the base OS would have.
Ambien leads to sleepwalking for me.. that was scary shit..
Never had that problem myself, but one of my ex-gf's from a few years ago was taking it because she worked a swing shift and could never readjust properly. She was one of those odd people who had a sleep-eating problem while taking anything like that. Though the first time it happened it was hilarious to see her face covered in chocolate and peanut butter.
Most antihistamines contain dimenhydrinate the same stuff that's used in gravol(anti-nausea meds) which is why it makes you drowsy. So for people who have problems sleeping, most doctors will tell you to take 1/4 to 1/2 up to a full gravol or generic 30 minutes before you go to bed. When that doesn't work, they'll usually move onto something like zolpidem/ambien or a barbiturate with an included hypnotic.
For me, I've been on and off again with stuff like that for ~3 years but it's due to pain issues. Since the pain becomes bad enough that I can't get to sleep, and I'd rather not go to a higher dosage or another narcotic since it would directly impact my day-to-day life. I'd rather be working then on disability, but even that is becoming harder.
WTF do electric car chargers have to do with security? Do you imagine that embassies must have "perfect" security and only then are the employees allowed to have chairs?
Well let's look at it from an IT pov shall we? You'r UID is low enough you should get it. Imagine you've got two satellite offices, one is in a relatively stable, secure area where you can get away with simple keypad lockouts and the occasional guard. The other location is in a shit hole, there's roving bands of thugs and not only do you have heavy security you also have all the existing security.
Now your nice safe office in order to look trendy in their new hip area wants 143 cappuccino and espresso machines, because that'll make them look good. And your other office wants more on the ground bodies and further hardening of the existing security measure to make sure your hardware is secure. So you decide that trendy and hip is the way to go, your other office gets trashed, people get killed and you just say "well there wasn't any money to help with that..." while you just finished spending several hundred thousand dollars for cappuccino and espresso machines.
So the money was there, it could have been reallocated by dispensation to the security fund. But instead of doing that you're now responsible for the deaths of a couple of people, destruction of your hardware and other issues. And your response is: "what difference does it make?"
Oh I didn't have to cite it. Many of those cases actually did happen. But you did know that said snopes death list uses rational wiki for most of their sources on that? Yeah, there's that really credible list. Rational wiki, a site so in deep with conspiracy theories that it makes truthers look sane and balanced.
You mean besides the part where the Benghazi embassy requested extra security and she along with her underlings said there wasn't any money for it? But they could come up with the money for electric car chargers for the embassies in Europe?
Don't forget her cattle futures, or the number of people dead surrounding her. From bodyguards to people directly involved with her, and dying from things like two bullets in the back of the skull after crawling 150ft uphill.
Well they have to complain somewhat, otherwise they won't know how to write the stories on the DNC, Hillary or Bernie. Then send those stories to the DNC to get approval before they publish them.
You don't turn around and suspend 6 people and then have your head of the congress get up and walk away(aka pressured out) if they're anything other then real. That should tell anyone who has a passing interest in politics all there is to know about it.
If he really believes that is the intent, now is the time to sue them, claiming they are abusing their monopoly position. That is the heart of his claim.
Well I'm getting my popcorn over the entire thing. Then again, a lot of gamers said "Fuck you" to Epic when they decided to dump the PC for consoles. A keen reminder that it was PC's that made their company, and now he's there whining because consoles are on the decline while gaming PC's are climbing. Lot of people see this as him trying to rebuild his credibility because he decided to bet on the wrong horse in this race.
Considering that many forests have a burn/repopulate phase that's probably one of the best solutions. Otherwise you start seeing what we have now, uncontrollable wildfires that spring up and eat decades of dead matter that have been left collecting because there haven't been fires to burn it up. There's parts of forests in western Canada where pine needles and other materials are nearly 2' deep. All that's going to take is one good strike from lightening and it'll burn out of control, and of course be increased by the number of dead/dying trees due to pine beetle infestations.
I own property in a very heavy democrat leaning area in Florida(Hillsborough and Polk Counties), I was just down there doing some prep work for the storm season and to leave keys with one of my friends down there in case they need to board up the house. Everywhere I went those democrats that I know, the areas that were democrats it's Trump. Even the die hard supporters after finding out about the leaks have swung Trump. They believe that neither the DNC or Clinton have their interests at heart and believe that Trump while not the best choice is a gigantic middle finger to the entire elitist establishment. And boy are people pissed at the establishment, especially those who've been out of work for 3+ years or had their jobs replaced by H1B's.
Not necessarily. They can be, but many unions especially the smaller ones still operate as not-for-profits. Larger ones like Teamsters, Unifor, Pipefitters, etc., you bet.
As an employed adult, when I manage to steal a few minutes away for gaming activities, I've found that I enjoy much more actually gaming rather than chasing down the latest drivers or spec-ing a new video card. YMMV
What kind of idiot are you? You're more likely going to spend 2 hours downloading and update for your console or games that you can't skip then you are for a PC. Hell I haven't updated the drivers for my videocard(sapphire 7950) since last year, and it's going along just fine with all the latest titles. Though I should probably do that tonight expecially for Doom since it's now updated to use the Vulcan API and there's a 30-560% increase in framerates depending on your videocard.
Topic at hand: I wouldn't recommend a console to anyone, especially since they're both underpowered PC's that you can't do a quarter the shit you could on a PC. While being locked into a console ecosystem that punishes you, and requires you to pay for multiplayer support and basic functions that are free on the PC.
Twitter should be the next one to watch. They've only got around $550m in assets and just blew $200m on a tech company to fold into theirs, that of course led to a very small stock bump of around $1.25/share, which is already declining. Keep in mind they're burning through around $125m yearly in losses. Anyone want to take a bet who will buy them up? I can't think of any company that would, especially with the self-imposed trashing of their own brand they've been going on for the last year.
Casinos make money out of nothing other than people's fucking stupidity. If you can't operate one, you're a fucking retard. 101.
I'm now awaiting your casino. I'm sure you can show everyone how it's done and not have it as a failing venture when there's an over-abundance and the economy hasn't been doing shit hot for the last 8 years. Oh and I'm guessing you're american, so you'll be doing that on a declining wage front.
No, it's not. He ran a casino into the ground. A casino? Otherwise known as a license to print money.
Guess you don't realize that casino's aren't a license to print money, but in many cases operate on a thin profit margin. And the more casino's there are, the more that margin thins out. Let's look at Ontario for example: All the casino's here are operated by the provincial government. Around 70% of them are money losing ventures because they've built so many that they've created an artificial glut.
Brave gave them the option to get around this by not only paying people to see ads but to openly vet ads to make sure they're malware free. The major advertising companies turned their nose up at it, though he hasn't given up and is still fighting to get the system in place. I honestly expect that he'll manage with a bit of luck create a new ad network out of it. And with luck, will displace the existing companies.
Any type of API like that I expect would be abused and exploited heavily.
Of course they won't. And until the ad industry gets their shit together then this current scenario won't change and more people will move to block ads. They did this themselves and are doubling down on stupid instead of going "why are people blocking ads..." Oh right, because we fucked up and allow malware authors to ride along on our networks and screw people over.
Sorry ad people, but using adblockers in some form is basic malware protection these days.
Comrade Boris is instituting the Great Leap Forward! All intellectuals and authors will be executed or reassigned by the state to hard labor. Peasantry will be expected to melt down tools in their home forges when party leadership visits. And our 5 year plan will also include agricultural reforms to ensure that there are more hungry people!
Considering the stuff coming out of the 20k emails leaked by wikileaks? There's going to be a lot of very nervous people at the DNC this week, so yep I expect that they figure someone will want to fish for information and they'll likely have signs up saying only xyz are approved hotspots or some such.
Easy. You have two candidates. One is the status quo( pro-big business) doing whatever the fuck it wants, while fucking you over, and telling you exactly what and how you're going to do things while supporting things like safe spaces and pushing for censorship and the banning of particular forms of speech via hate crime laws. While being a lying piece of shit that has such a shady past and more scandals then you can shake a hairy cat at.
Then, you've got the other that's ridden on the back of populist support(aka the people), who's against big business fucking people over. Is against trade agreements that put America at a disadvantage and is against the importation of workers to the US when there are people who are willing to do the jobs but companies don't want to pay the wages that Americans would want.
Personally as a Canuck? Trump is the better choice and is more likely to ensure US wealth growth then Clinton. Also with that a prosperous US is good for Canada always has been. It's very rare that we don't have serious economic problems when the US slows down. If you don't think wages aren't depressing in the US you're not paying attention. Without a parity conversion, the average Canuck now makes more then an American. And the average US wage has decreased by $3-4k in the last few years, while the prices of goods, services, energy have all gone through the roof. Whether you want to believe it or not, the US is on the verge of a deflationary spiral and it needs to be fixed fast.
Why are you using a DVD? Slap it on a flash drive and go on your way. Telnet? Filthy hipster. Real people use a combination of finger and gopher.
Of course, you didn't have to cite it, this is an informal message board, not a court of law. You can claim anything you want in it.
You mean besides it makes you look crazy? Up next you'll claim that Hillary is an upstanding person and was all for the terror designation for Boko Haram as a terrorist group right? OH wait...she was actively against it so friends of hers(including the Obama's and their friends) could cash in on money relating to it. Remember #bringbackourgirls and all that SJW feel-good activism? Yeah. You support one of the worst politicians in modern history.

Point of order, but this is western Canada you are talking about. Those pine needles will be 0.61 metres, if you please!
I'm being kind to our American friends. You should know that they're allergic to metric.
You don't turn around and suspend 6 people and then have your head of the congress get up and walk away(aka pressured out) if they're anything other then real. That should tell anyone who has a passing interest in politics all there is to know about it.

PC's just worked in 2003 and you can build a PC for $350USD that can kill both the PS4 and Xbox one with their shitty 30fps and 720-900p resolutions and plug it into the same TV you were using to play your console games on.
