You're comparing Europe to North America again. Around nearly every "surplus" store here, parking is free. If it's not, it's usually $1-2/2-5hr parking because they also own the lot. On top of that, surplus stores have shifted and cater to larger groups of people. One of the ones nearly me is called "London City Surplus" you can find pretty much everything there, from used military goods to stuff that's been dumped by 3M and EDM(Electro-Motive Diesel) which builds 'slugs' and train engines. Both with the ability to be 'hot dropped' into areas for electrical power without requiring an inverter. On of the other surplus stores in Kitchener/Waterloo has more stuff from Blackberry for instance, and used stuff from the tri-univerisities(Waterloo, Wilfred-laurier, Conestoga) in the area.

The problem in this case is that the above mentioned store is being pushed out. And that 'hobbyists' aren't going in as they used to, this likely has more to do with people who work for SV companies no longer being able to afford to live there and commuting in.

Which is a load of crap and just because a bunch of people regularly gather on my front lawn or a shopping centre lobby, or a private park etc doesn't automatically make it public.

All of those places mentioned are defined as "semi-public" in law. And even at that, private property can fall under the protections and be required to hold and grant the same rights to individuals as those would be under lands held by government.

Again that "access" based system is a US irregularity and elsewhere if private land is to be protected by free speech it actively has to be designated as such, as is the case with the examples you gave.

And yet, I can find plenty of case law from other countries that state otherwise. Maybe you should try the same?

And yet nobody, not even them can explain what they're protesting. They had no problems ignoring the Clintons for decades doing worse then Trump's locker room talk, or ignoring and/or covering up payouts for sexual harassment in government. The government being anti-feminist is a good thing, if you don't think so then you haven't figured out just how fast a persons life is destroyed by a false accusation. Remember feminism promotes "listen and believe." And also promotes no-punishment for false accusations.

Conservatives are trying to make you register to see porn, regulate people's bathroom usage...

Can't find anything on that in the republican platform. Can't find that in any mainstream conservative sites. But we can find plenty of mainstream feminism sites that state "porn is abuse of women" "women who enjoy doing porn have internalized misogyny" "viewing porn is misogyny" "porn is rape culture" promoting garbage like 1:5 women will be sexually assaulted on campus(FYI that would mean a college campus is more dangerous for women then Mogadishu) or other such drek without a problem. Promotion of "mandatory anti-rape" classes, because we all know that men just can't control themselves when they see that whores uncovered hair, and her showing ankle. Oh wait, that one might be just a bit true...but only for specific groups of people. Pushing a politically correct culture that defends anti-western ideals, and defends absolute barbarism to the point where feminists blame underage girls for being raped - not the rapist(s).

And somehow it's still feminism's fault.

Considering modern feminism dumped equality, decided to go full authoritarian. Screeches that a "penis in vagina" is rape. Has a very serious man-hatred problem. Fights against domestic abuse shelters for men. That prominent voices state that rape can only be done by men. Promoting anti-equality under law legislation - meaning guilt before innocence no matter the case. Promoting anti-exculpatory evidence laws. Promoting no jail sentences for violent female offenders.

Yeah, I'd say feminism has some good blame to soak.

What I find annoying as hell is how the old-hacks who railed against movies and video games, now feel emboldened by the very loud minority voices among the left pushing for censorship to the point that they can dust off their old talking points and start anew. And the same media outlets, those same voices who screeched that those right-wingers were assholes for trying to censor, are right there...nodding their heads in agreement. Here's two good examples, Jack Thompson is now paraded by leftist sites as a moral voice. 20. I have not tried it. But I suspect it is way easier to get a gun illegally in the US than it is in europe, if only for the fact that there are so many people from which one could be stolen.

Nope, it's trivial in just about every country to get an illegal gun because there's so many unstable countries right next door. That includes things like grenades, and fully-automatic weapons. In Canada, illegal guns are more likely to come from China then from the US. Why? Because the most common route when people try to smuggle weapons in is via either Windsor/Detroit or Port Huron. And border agents on both sides are generally pretty good at catching that in transit, and it helps that nearly all trucks either have pre-inspection and sealed or have a secondary inspection during the crossing. On the other hand, there's so much cargo entering/leaving out of Vancouver that only a fraction is ever inspected even if it has suspect labeling.

In the US? Getting your hands on an actual illegal gun(i.e. machine gun) is nearly impossible. Getting your hands on a stolen gun though? It's more difficult then 20 years to get one, but not impossible.
