Of course, when really annihilating the apartment complex in such a way you would create such an explosion (a fuckton of gamma rays, absorbed by the earth, this absorption heats the rock so it evaporates) you would at least dislodge our dear planet from it's orbit and probably rip it to shreds completely. While an interesting science project not something you'd get funding for. May be combined with sharks with frikking lasers on their heads of course.
I can't read the article: blocked by company policy. But I would like to know whether they tested with Comodo in the "auto sandbox" setting. Since the virus would run sandboxed, it should not matter what the language was. I am thinking of switching from MSSE to Comodo, and if they tested it and it failed then Comodo would not be an option for me.
Well, the people pay her for the fun. The fun is found in friction. The friction causes neurons to fire, which cause hormones to be released. The concentration of these hormones is increased until some other neurons fire, causing other hormones to be released and muscles to be contracted. We don't need Michio to explain that.
And, don't forget, the sun doesn't care whether we use the energy before radiating it back into space (as heat). The sun will die in a billion years or so, whether we use the energy or radiate it back as soon as it arrived.
Or, as far as I know, these people may have a brain that is formed with the inherent capability to work easily with absolutes. This may even hinder their ability to approximate. The result would be an brain that is seen as mentally disabled, since normal human interactions require approximation. To me it seems that these people are "a test", genetic abnormalities that are evolution itself. In this light most of us would choose to see them as "failed experiments of evolution, let's move on". I am not sure if that is correct. Disclaimer: IANANS, IANAP
My native language isn't English. However I do have another Germanic language as a base: Dutch. This helps with getting the grammar (mostly) correct. I did not consider Tei would be a non-Germanic speaker and thus having a greater difficulty in learning English. I guess I would make most the same mistakes when attempting to learn a non-Germanic language. I am sorry.
It was mostly a comment indicating I was truly unable to read it. The link to 4chan was meant as a joke, albeit a bad and insulting one. I am sorry about that. As I can see in your post, his/her idea seems great, but I was unable to decipher it from the original post.
Usually when I do admin-work on my system, I have more than one command to enter. Since I am not very good I have to Google a lot of things. This takes time. When I finally found how to do what I want I do not want to be interrupted because the sudo timeout has expired. I simply start my admin work with su and end it with su neil. Once I have reverted to neil, the system is safe again. Safe enough to let others work with it.
De boot naar Schiermonnikoog gaat boven Groningen. translated: The boat to Schiermonnikoog (an island, just above Groningen) goes above Groningen. That's referring to the other way to translate "Er gaat niets boven Groningen!": "Nothing goes above Groningen."
if you prefer Windows, just buy a copy and wipe out your OEM's shitty version.
Why pay again for what you already bought? Install Windows from a downloaded/borrowed disk with the license key that was attached to your system. Dunno about the US, but in the EU you are legally allowed to do that.
It seems to have PDMI, so DisplayPort (convertible to HDMI) and USB are to be expected. The article seems to be wrong on that regard.
The lack of decent, indestructible glass is disturbing. The (probable) lack of updates is worse.
(I don't think it's even above the UK; more likely central Europe.)
[mode="pedantic"] The geostationary orbit is by definition not above Europe, since Europe is not on the equator.[/mode]
If, for example, the channels are on the Astra 2 satellite, they are at 19.2 degrees longtitude east. This means they are above Congo, and due south from central europe.
When I tried Kubuntu last it was missing some important parts, like a decent webbrowser and an office suite. I never really figured the package manager out: I couldn't find things based on a description, which meant I had to search the internet for a decent program that did what I wanted and continue to compare the lists (the programs that did what I wanted, found painstakingly, and the programs that were in the repository). I went back to OpenSuse. If you finished the OpenSuse install the stuff you need is there. Yast is the greatest admin tool ever IMHO.
But probably not the hard drive in the copier. If I kick a copier it will be damaged. We had a 2GB Seagate disk that went through much worse (it was used as a pre-flash USB stick. I use Corsair Flash Survivors for the same job now). The seagate was not impressed by falling off a bike multiple times, although it didn't like cola. Harddrives can take a lot of physical abuse.
Your kids should not have the admin password, so they should not be able to install anything. They should always ask someone like you to install stuff. Once they figure out you can download stuff from the internet and install it you will have a very busy internet connection.
Servers don't have users who think "oo puppies" and open an executable file conveniently named "dancing_puppies" (add the correct extension) and disables the virusscanner and firewall if it starts to complain. "Shut up firewall, I want to see the puppies!". People even disabled the rights escalation (UAC) in Vista and 7. "I don't want to see another warning when I install stuff, just install it".There may be more security holes in windows, but the biggest hole is the user. Replace puppies with naked women for male users.

Tomorrow's energy cycle: Sun -> using it Sun -> athmospheric pressure differences -> using it
Please add: Sun -> Plants ->Yeast (fermentation) -> Using it (as ethanol)
Then again, if it starts reading tvtropes, we will have no trouble from it for a couple of years.
We could equip our phones with GPS recievers, in order to allow a virus dispensing AI to be able to pin point us...
Encrypt it with quad rot-13. They will not be able to crack that!

I am not a native English speaker. My native language is Dutch.
Plz 2 be going back 2 4chan.
Where is the -1 Unreadable when you need it?

Nuke it from orbit!

You must start working for the RIAA then, they constantly pull numbers out of their asses...
With Tweak UI you can disable autorun on all disks.

On their home systems people will demand root access. You can't protect against a brick-brained root.
