    This is the same Canada that couldn't even contain the spread of SARS and had Toronto quarantined from the world, whil at the same time SARS has been irrelevant in the U.S. ?

    When you have socialized healthcare you get what you pay for. That's why no medical advancements come out of nations with such systems.

    Canadianas, like Europeans, tend to think the government can provide everything and do it better than private industry. They tend to confuse quantity of services with quality.

    I'm always astounded how people think they have the right to express their opinions and then act surprised when there are repercussions.

    If you want to discuss politics, religion, etc., you have to realize that you are going to piss some people off. If you're ok with that then you won't have a problem dealing with things like this.

    In fact, I hope they buy movie companies, publishers, etc. Sony has done the same thing and I see Microsoft and Sony as being the two competitors that need to be balanced.

    Sony doesn't get a lot of flack in these parts because they haven't made the political mistakes Microsoft has, but they're just as much a threat with their stranglehold on manufacturing and content.

    I would love to see Microsoft start spending their money in these areas.

    Lets not forget, some of the worst monsters like Saddam have been fueled/payrolled by the US, Iran/Iraq war anyone

    And are currently supported by nation builders like France and Germany. I won't even mention Germany's shipment of tons of cyanide to N. Korea that was revealed today.

    Good ol, Germany and France. Always against war...unless there's a buck to be made.

    This is why Americans universally hate France and are now starting to see Germany in their true light again.
