I work for a company that is doing Voice over IP on our backbone. It has been determined that the maximum acceptable downtime in a VoIP connection is 2 seconds, so if a link goes down, the router has 2 seconds to figure it out and determine another route.
Not really, if somebody steals your credit card, you are not liable.
If somebody steals your check card, you are just out that much cash. That makes daily limits a good thing. Besides, a quality bank will raise it if you ask.
Oh, yeah, and don't forget the little thing called transactions. If you are writing a serious system without them, you will have a big problem. Last time I checked, MySQL did not support them, but PostgreSQL did.

I think it makes an interesting point, and I do believe some balance should be struck between the most populous and least populous states. The electors themselves should be given the boot, but I think the system still makes sense.

My question in all this, is not whether of not Nazi memorabilia should be banned (the idiots buying and selling it should have their heads checked and possibly thumped)
I collect coins from all countries and time periods, and yes, I do have a Reich coin with von Hindenburg on the obverse and a swastika on the reverse. This somehow makes me a bad person? I also have coins dating from the Roman Empire, another government famous for human rights violations. Not to mention a coin struck during the time of Alexander the Great, etc. How are these relics ideologically relevent?

Dunn & Bradstreet? Verification? Huh?
Just go to their website and enter your info. A rep will call you at the number given and ask a few simple questions. That's it.

My congress-units do read and respond to my email. The three that I write to are Wolf, Warner, and Allen, all from Virginia.
Of course, I'm mostly writing to tell them how much I disagree with their policies, but oh well.

I agree. I don't sign non-competes. It's that simple
My school (GMU) requires at least 26 math credits, but if you want ot take discrete, you must take 29 credits.
Yikes!
I did get one of these charges on my card this month.
The charge was from INET in Moscow, RU for 217.17 rubles and I had to send in the little form on the back of the statement to get the charge removed.
If this guy claims that I bought something at his web site, then my credit card company definitely will give him cash.

I use sendmail with the rbl and source domain validation. I get maybe one piece of spam per week.
