What I never quite get about Denebas for Linux was how to get the modifications they implemented in their wine version. I thought it was supposed to release them but never found it at their site or got answer. Some were quite good, giving the window management right to window manager instead of simulating the windows minimize on to the desktop. Also does anyone tried the last version with the last glibc and XFree 4.0 ? I remember a month ago it was quite broken unless I removed the openGL support or compiled against a different one. Now that I compiled glibc 2.1.3, April wine doesn't run at all.
Not because of any reasons to do with copyright or the nebulous notion of freedom, but pure and simply because pornography is immoral. It serves no purpose to society but to sate the unwholesome appetites of certain elements of the male population who, for whatever reason, cannot find themselves a woman to marry. You're so right. We all should be walking naked instead. No more industry. (information wants to be free ?)
There is a full featured CAD program using DWG as native format with all the standard tools you can ask for an Autocad alike. It can be downloaded for free, used for any purpose, even commercial, unlike StarOffice. It only lacks the photorealistic render engine, some additional fonts, and VBA support. It uses DWG for native format. It runs soomthly on windows and it's much lighter than Acad14. I believe there is a linux version in development and the source can be accessed if you register as developer. It can be found at www.cadopia.com BTW I've posted this before, but it was ignored because i didn't login. I hope this gets to the architects complaining because the lack of alternative the time the Cycas story was posted
The word conversion for abiword is made by a third party library, from the guy who does mswordview.
Don't know about kword though...
