I'd mod you up, but you already are at max. A lot of the flaws people point out are pretty easy to debunk when you think about it. Even someone in grade school could probably figure them out if they are smart enough. The best one I know is how people point out you cannot see the stars. Well of course you can't see them because the sun is out and the light from it is drowning out their light. Also people try to argue about the dust not flying up into the air and just falling straight to the ground. Well that’s because there is not atmosphere on the moon so obviously the dust has nothing to float around in before it finally settles. Which explains why it falls straight to the ground. I could say more, but like you said the evidence to support that the moon landing is real is pretty strong. Especially when some of the so called flaws is actually evidence that helps to show that they were actually in space on the moon.

So true, and what a lot of people do not realize is that we have knives, and you can get those without having to get a back ground check or anything. Also when I say knives I am talking about the military grade ones. Those tend to make very good offensive weapons. Lets not forget either that getting a conceal carry for those big things is far easier than for a gun. So does that mean we should ban knives too? Not at all since like you stated people are the root of the problem, and not guns or any weapon for that matter.

  14. Re:Why just guns? on Using Wearable Tech To Track Gun Use · · Score: 1

Guns are banned in quite a few cities. Also by your logic those of us who live in the country where almost everyone has a gun should have a very high murder rate, however that is the opposite. Furthermore getting rid of guns won't fix the issue since it is not the root cause. China has massive stabbing sprees frequently, and firearms are banned there. One of the worst involved several men who stabbed about 159 people, and 29 nine of them died.

  15. Re:Why just guns? on Using Wearable Tech To Track Gun Use · · Score: 1

My point is that the issue isn't guns but criminals. In China those handful of men with knives still managed to kill 29 people and injure another 130. That is just as bad if not worse than any gun crime I have heard of. Lets also remember that it is very easy to make a knife. Furthermore more people are killed yearly by blunt objects than so called "assault" weapons. Also those so called "assault" weapons are actually some of the weaker guns you can buy. So really the whole gun arguemnt is flawed when you think about it. It bascially always boils down to criminals.

Lets not forget how countries that have gun bans tend to have massive stabbing sprees. So the issue isn't guns or even weapons in general, it is people. http://www.bbc.com/news/world-...

I guess we will have to see how it all turns out.

  21. Re:wow on GM To Introduce Hands-Free Driving In Cadillac Model · · Score: 2

Everyone does have bugs like you say, however GMs recalls have been so bad that they have told people to stop driving certain models all together. Some of the popular ones that I remember are the Silverado and the Camaro. The issue with them is that the tie rods can come off which is very bad. I actually witnessed this on these vehicles. Once when I was on my way home on the highway this guy’s new Camaro lost its tie rod on the right front side and the wheel went rolling down the road. Also when leaving home one morning with my wife we were behind a Silverado that the same thing happened to except his tire didn't go rolling down the road luckily. The guy got it pulled over quick enough so the damage was not as bad in that situation. To me that kind of recall is inexcusable since this industry has been around so long. They should have these things figured out by now. If it was some new technology they were adding to the vehicle I could see how someone could mess up. However the components that are failing on these vehicles have been around for decades. So obviously they shouldn’t be having these issues when it comes to these parts. My guess is someone may have decided to reinvent these parts and messed up pretty bad. Either that or they decided to try and do it cheaper and went to cheap.

  22. You make a good point there, and I know that women do these same things to men at times. I was really just intending to point out the fact that these people aren't helping the matter. I also agree with you that gamers seem to be worse than others. However I've known plenty of non-gamers that do stuff like this as well. Over all I think it is best for both genders to realize that some men and women are obviously bad, but also realize that there are plenty of good men and women as well.

It is my fellow men like these ones that really make me mad, and I wonder why any of them would treat a woman like this.
