The Cassinni Division and the Sky Road are set in the same 'world'. At the start Cassinni Division Jon Wilde is in a conversation with some of the Earth residents and is surprised that everybody follows the philosophies of a mystery friend.
The Sky Road is about the Deliverance where Jon Wilde's lover Myra is revered as a great philospher.
Wish he would go back to that universe and describe the events between the Sky Road and the Cassinni Division, but it looks as though he is working on a standalone called Newtons Wake
1) Junk the entire cast of the Enterprise. Bring in a new ship called Moya. Introduce a dynamic bad guy called Scorpius. And Have a few new good guys including a lost astronaut from Earth, his alien lover who is pregnant with his child, a guy with a fake nose and a load of muppets. Oh and rename the show Farscape.
2) Junk the entire cast, Earth, and show title. Instead write a new origin show, this time describe the origin of the Borg. The residents of a certain planet could be human lookalikes (save on makeup). They use a series of computers to communicate and exchange information (could call this the Collective). The Borg is a a company that wrote some of the most popular software that the Collective runs on and there is a corrupt element rising within in it, with a thirst for knowledge. Would probably have a limited shelf life (4 seasons maybe) but it would at least be something different
At the age of 17 my IQ was 126. Now 6 years later and many games played it is 115. Of course I have been playing a lot of Leisure Suit Larry so that may have a lot to do with it
I think I would actually wait for the nokia 6610, and update to the Nokia 6510, which in itself was an update on the 8310 which I currently own (suppose I could wait for the 8410).
No camera though, but then again I would prefer to use the money saved to buy a separate digital camera.
Sea of Silver Light is hitting stores this month. Should already be out in the US and out in the UK next week.
Prelude is out at tadwilliams.com
Chapther 1 is displayed at amazon.com and barnesandnoble.com
Hiya - I've just got a minidisc player and it has made me think why there isn't an MD-ROM/R/RW standard for computers out.
They hold the same amount of info as a CD, but they are about a quater of the size and they have protective casing.
Just a thought
right I'm off to buy a 286
There is a very funny scene at the end of the third book where a character is on the 'throne'.
So that'll be a yes then!
Will you stop directing users to westeros. It's slow enough these days without you /. it!
