No, but modern fertility awareness/natural family planning is, and it's as effective as contraception. And cheap and safe. Doesn't make any money for the drug companies, though.
It would be great to work there for a few years and retire just before you went crazy. To do that, you had to not spend any money on frivolties, e.g., booze. But, no thanks.
I know you want "the desktop", so with Windows reduced to giving away their OS but still pissing people off the way their handling the upgrade to 10, do you think Linux can beat them back to a minority?
Google, and now Microsoft (monkey see monkey do) are doing this and making money. Money helps fund software development. If Canonical gets rid of anything not blessed by RMS, they will suffer the loss of that revenue and those folks who actually want the apps in question will have one less reason to not use Ubuntu, but go to the aforementioned Not-So-Evil and Evil companies aforementioned for their operating systems and the gadgets that run them. If Mark & Co. explain to people what is FOSS, what is paid, and what is "free" but with in-app purchases, etc. then they can claim Full Disclosure. If not...well, that would be bad. Real bad. Microsoftlike bad.
I graduated with an engineering degree in 1970 and am now 67 years old and "retired." I worked mostly as a vacuum tube engineer (high powered radar), in fact I' d be doing it still if I wanted to relocate and keep working. I learned Fortran IV coding in college, but never did a bit of it. So keep your prognostications of the future, and your newfangled confusers, and get off my lawn.
The key to making Belgian-American beer is to take Coors Light and put a ton of cloves and hops in it, and color it with caramel so it's black. There you go. Until you go to Flanders and sample one of the 300 brews there, you won't know the difference.
....until the one year update time is about to run out. I want to see what gotchas MS has slipped into this. If it bricks my dual boot, my freedom from Windows will be complete.
You're referring to Germanium, which was used in the 50's.
"Chemical sterilization! That's natural right?"

They would if DISA cleaned up its act.

Go to Distrowatch.com, pick out a nice Linux, and have them mail a disk to you.
Problem solved. They can take out the windows, saving more weight. So you can't see anything.
Shemya was a nice place to visit, for a week.

I think those people missed the update to their religion, which happened two millennia ago.

...for 9 meelion bucks.
It'll be cheaper for them to buy Linux licenses, and run XP in a virtual machine.
All they have to do is pass a law banning it. Problem solved. Vote for Quimby.
Well, it's time that changed.
I'm 67, retired, and run Linux, so I just love it when "The Microsoft" calls.
"wait a minute while it boots."
5 minutes later:
"Hold on while I get my credit card".
10 minutes later: treat them to the audio of me sitting on the loo, micturating. Extra points for a #2.

Why don't you start by publishing your social security number, mother's maiden name, and where you lived

Cool, most of those work on Linux Mint too.
Oh well, back to real work.
Ommegang is why I moved to upstate NY.
I was on the ferry to Scotland and a guy was bringing in a case of Budweiser. I decided I wasn't going to drink the beer in Scotland.

Ubuntu Media Center has everything you need.
Unless they get Linux.
Because Google would never spy on you to sell you crap.
