    I guess you're better off with a Mac. I've never seen anyone able to crash Win2k by opening only 3 applications. Hell I have a PII-400 and I usually have at least 10 applications open at a time.
    You're definitively doing something very wrong with that PC, if it's so worthless, why not give it to me? Even ordinary Mac users know that iMac sucks, you're really weird dude, you think different.

    What will happen when those 15-year-olds are in their twenties? That's the real question.
    It's hard to tell, but they'll probably discover that money, power, information, etc. aren't the keys for a great life. So, their search for the truth begins.

    As a former 15-year-old :) I can tell you this. Forget about business, consulting, customers, etc. You're 15, have fun, play and do stuff that you love to do. As a teenager you've been gifted with a huge amount of creativity. It would be really bad if you wasted your teenage years working for people and doing what they want you to do.

    yes, nobody needs a terminal emulation program anymore. Yes NotePad sucks, but if they add the feature you ask for they'll get sued. And as you say : There are a million better programs (not necessarily more complex, though) Yes there is and most of them aren't free. Why would Dell want to write a better Notepad and give it away for free?
    Btw, I use Winamp for music listening and WMP for videos. Netscape sucked and they decided to create an alternative. IM's were starting to get real messy, all of a sudden we had people with three to four IM programs installed on their computers and MS thought that MSN Messenger would solve that mess. PBrush sucks, I don't know anyone who use it.

    oh Java is cool alright, if you're very patient and don't mind waiting for stuff to load, besides this demo was a pain in the behind to install.
