  2. grsec? on SELinux Moving Into The Mainstream · · Score: 1

Why should anyone use this instead of grsecurity? I'm just curious, it's not meant to be a flamestarter. :)

  4. Psion S5mx is crap (so is Ericsson MC218) on Palmtop Nirvana? · · Score: 1

Be prepared that the ribbon cable of the LCD on the Psion will break within 1-1,5 years. I speak from experience, I had an Ericsson MC218 in the past (which is nearly the same, only with a bit more software). OTOH, the slow serial port sucks bigtime on it, forget fast synchronization, backups, etc.

  5. Stay away from Adaptec ATA RAID 2400A on Mirroring Controllers - What have been Your Experiences? · · Score: 2, Informative

I know it's not supposed to be a low-end RAID-card (however, it IS :>) like the mentioned ones, but probably you also considered this one. Don't even think about it. I shared my experiences on StorageReview, click here to read it.

  6. Everyone uses it in our library on Which Organizations Have Standardized on Mozilla? · · Score: 1

I work as a sysadmin at the Central Library of Budapest University of Economic Sciences and Public Administration (Hungary, Central Europe). All of the staff uses Mozilla as our MUA, 50-some people. It works quite well for us, at least we avoid the Outlook scriptviruses. :)

  7. Just like in Hungary! on Is the BSA "Grace Period" a Scam? · · Score: 2, Interesting

The BSA seems like one of the flagships of globalisation, since it does the very same here, in Hungary. However not the BSA itself does this "investigation", but the police, usually with an "expert", who is of course trained and tought by the BSA.

Unfortunately it does not receive enough publicity that it uses our tax and the police to enforce their member software firms' will on the public.

Dictatorship is not your privilege anymore, my American fellows! :))

Árpi didn't started the project just to harvest other people's work and "relying on other poeple's binaries for their glory". He wanted a media player that can playback all the know video formats on Linux - and at last the MPlayer team seems to succeed.

Remember: you don't have to like any free software. If you don't like it, write better!

  10. Go ahead, spoil your teeth! on Gaming Fuel: 4-way Shootout · · Score: 1

These kinds of junk not only makes you fat with all the sugar in them and stuffs out your body with toxins, but also washes your teeth apart. They are full of acids: the obvious carbonic and the not-so-obvious phosphoric acid, both are quite bad for you.

Why don't just drink plain, good old coffee, when you need caffeine? Or a strong tea? They are much better to your health beside keeping you up all the night.
