IPCC releases latest report saying climate change is happening due to human causes - Republican Party flagged this as false - Greenpeace has flagged Republican Party's flag as false - Koch Brothers has flagged Greenpeace's flag as false - WWF has flagged Koch Brothers' flag as false...
I had to use one of their search tools (well, one from a company that they bought actually) when I was looking after the applications for a website. The only time I used the site search was when I had to try to diagnose a problem with it. For the most part those of us on the application support team used Google when we needed to find anything on our site because it provided better results.
I was sent for training on the product and the person giving the lessons used a major electronics company as an example site of their product. It was a horrible search engine that wouldn't always find things even if the pages existed.
When I had a contract with a local telco I would have to use a VPN in order to get onto a network with a test switch. The problem with I had was that I lost my access to the Internet with that connection. What I ended up doing was running the VPN in a virtual machine. My software ran in the virtual machine connecting to the test switch without a problem but the rest of my computer still had access to the Internet.
You could do the same and only your business stuff would be sent over the VPN. Of course the FBI might just listen to everything coming out of your connection instead of anything just on the VPN which would mean that this wouldn't work.
I've been using their tax software for years and haven't looked into their offering this year because I found an alternative that lets you pay what you want to, including nothing, after you have filed. It's at simpletax.ca in case anyone is interested. Now I just need to find an alternative for my company taxes.
The last thing that I had been using radio for was my alarm but I stopped that when I got sick of the fart jokes and Bieber updates. They didn't play his "music" but for some reason thought I gave a damn about what he was up to.
I find many artists through CBC Music 3. The Band of the Day app is pretty good too.
The bells on an ice cream bicycle (cart). I have only even seen an ice cream truck probably once in the last decade. Every summer there is a truck that goes around the neighbourhood ringing a bell and playing music but it's for sharpening lawnmower blades.
I don't know about the US but in Ontario they use the fax a lot in the medical practice (and between pharmacies) when there is no electronic interchange available. They are not allowed to use email because it's not secure. My doctors office just has the documents go directly into their electronic system and if they need a paper copy they print it out from there.
I was thinking motion activated. It would start recording when they get out of their car and while they walk around and keep recording for five or ten minutes after the motion has stopped.
This has nothing to do with following links. What happens is that the spam shows an image. You can set up the mail client to not load images in junk messages so the spammers won't receive a request for the image which will have your IP address, browser info (the email client in this case), OS, and a bunch of other information. But in the spotlight search results it loads the image even for junk messages so the spammer will get that information. If the spammer is even a bit clever instead of just having a static file for the image they will use a script to serve up the file so they can use a CGI call and pass along the email address. And bingo you know which email addresses have read your message.
I could see the snipers on the SWAT teams using this to give additional information to those in command rather than just relaying information over the radio and also for verifying a shot when there is time.
We do that in elections and see how well that works out.
I can see this now:
IPCC releases latest report saying climate change is happening due to human causes ...
- Republican Party flagged this as false
- Greenpeace has flagged Republican Party's flag as false
- Koch Brothers has flagged Greenpeace's flag as false
- WWF has flagged Koch Brothers' flag as false
Fox News isn't a reliable news source either but it hasn't stopped people from going there from getting their conspiracy theory of the day.
I think the Commodore 64 had a little bit of popularity.
We've been tracking your cell phones for years now but we're going to start using the data for traffic analysis this year.

Who is going to overturn it? A bunch of judges that have never touched a computer in their lives?

Well if your blinds are drawn then you definitely have something to hide.
Having used some of Autonomy's products I'd say that HP paid $11.7 B too much for the company.
I don't even bother adding the number to a contact. If it's blocked it's because it's a telemarketer.
Yes, they keep it encrypted on their site. I came across their software because I ran across their app for the iPad and gave it a try.
the last time they put out a release that actually had something that I used.

And put all those accountants and lawyers out of work!
I hired an accountant for the first year to set up my books and do my taxes. From then on I've done everything myself.

I still see a couple of those around town during the summer for the tourists.

Only if they can find a way to outsource the building of the hoop into 40+ states and create 10,000 jobs in order to gain enough support in Congress.

Just wait until the next school shooting when one of these is live streaming.
