    You missed the point. You do not need college to "learn how to learn". You may need college to give direction to what you should learn. I find it ironic that "Freshman him" would not have known how to do any of the things listed there which are needed in order to get through Highschool. How'd he even make it to be a Freshman?

    So you're saying that these people learned nothing in Grammar School or in High School? If they don't know how to learn how did they even make it to college? Needing college to learn how to learn things is a myth. You've been learning things since you entered this world. Be it on your own or by means of it being passed down by another. College is not needed to learn how to learn That's just stupid talk. Some people may need a formal education to have direction in what to learn, but that is different.

    I'm in Japan. When I move here from the East coast of the US I wanted to throw a party because I didn't have to change the clocks or adjust my time schedule. Changing the clocks sucks. period.

    iPhone is extremely popular here. Apple has been popular in general in Japan for a long time, so the brand carries it's weight pretty well here. Most iPhone users just put a cover on their iPhone that they can put their NFC card into and use it that way. The NFC card company then has an iPhone app to manage how much ÃfÃÂ¥ is on the card, etc...

    This is exactly why my TV though having an either port does NOT have internet access connected to it. I get monitored enough, there's enough risk from being hacked. Leave my TV alone!

    Actually, you're wrong. I have many female friend active in the cosplay/costuming scene at conventions. Many of them dress in revealing costumes of their favorite characters. I have had discussions with them about this subject and they think the women who make a big deal of it are self conscious and whiney. I have many other friends are well educated who also think that the whole thing is blown out of proportion. So I have talked with and have listened to many women on the subject. If you don't like it then don't buy their games/products, it's that simple.

    Physical property and intellectual property are not the same. They aren't covered by the same rules. A computer program, or website is covered by copyright law whether distributed or not. My house is not.

    I have no problem with scantily clad women. I know many women who have no problem (and rather enjoy) scantily clad women. Just cause it's a problem to you doesn't mean it's a problem to everyone else.

    I don't think it's unethical at all. While you can't use the code, you have fair-use rights to it for educational purposes. the purpose of educating prospective employers what you can do.
