    Separate authentication from authorization from identification.

    Doesn't authentication generally mean your identification is authentic? Not sure how you separate those two.

    24 hours? My email said it expires in 3. And it was sent at 1am. No joke.

    (they sent another later about 40 mins ago) Also, I just tried clicking on my password reset link, and it sent me to a "server is down" page. =/ Oh well. Someone else (apparently japanese) signed up for an account with my email address and I was hoping to take it over and delete it with the password reset.

    Sony doesn't necessarily "lose" if these forced changes can help them regain customers' confidence. Getting the OK from Japan could be a great boon to Sony, and a chance for them to say "hey look, we redid everything and now everything bad is all better!" (whether or not it actually is)

    Better alternative: "Mom bought bumper stickers for both my car and Kevin's."
    Or if you meant: "Mom bought bumper stickers for my and Kevin's car. (the car belongs to us both)"

    Actually I'm not sure about that second one. Typical English speakers seem to say "me and Kevin's car".

    Thank you. People often say that the music industry needs a new business model. I usually roll my eyes at that, but if their business model is "pay lawyers $64m to earn $2m", then I definitely agree they need to adopt a business model with fewer lawyers.

    aka DRM? People are pointing at this as evidence of "fragmentation". Yes, android allows some phones to be *less* DRMed. Yes, Android allows you to have a smartphone that's not superpowered enough to run Netflix. Hey, some people don't want or need the Netflix app. I'll take this kind of "fragmentation" anyday over the One Holy Certified Applestolic iThing.
