    microsoft isn't a linux contributor. they have merely contributed code to make linux play nicer with their software. if they want to be considered a "key" contributor, they need to contribute to making linux a better OS on its own

    yep, statistical analysis isn't rocket science. that's why telemarketers badger soooo many people; if you collect enough data, you eventually get a trend, and any bullshit responses will be stripped out as outliers. the only way to fool statistics would be to get enough of the sample (assuming you even knew it and could contact them yourself before the telemarketers) to give the same bullshit answers.

    Microsoft is bringing things to the table

    even at dinner parties there's always leftovers

    microsoft can bring whatever they want, but for many people there's still a sour taste from various pos that microsoft brought to the table in the past (vista, oem rorts, fud, ie6, etc)

    if i go full tard one day, maybe i'll take your advice. until then local storage and libre office does the job for me just fine

    libre office: non-profit, community driven
    microsoft, google: would sell their own mothers to make a buck, end-user care factor is non-existent
