When organized crime ie growers, traffickers, and dealers and the government want the same thing that is a bad thing. It should send a message that just as in 193o's prohibition has caused a great black market that pays nothing into the system and only promotes fear and violence. We need a rational drug policy not one based on politics of how we would like to be through rose colored glasses.
100k for some voice work is pretty damn good. If hes whining because he didn't do his contract right, so what.
And from the developers view, I would only pay the voice actors like this, makes sense. Your the one taking the financial risk of 100s of millions downs the tube so its your reward. Now if you wanted to give bonuses based on sales thats your own egg, but it would keep things like this from happening.
I can say being a 22+ year veteran of D&D, that I won't be getting into the 4th edition. 3.0-3.5 was just fine. Yes fights took a while, and there are issues but there will always be issues that have to be resolved in house. It seems to me that this edition will be a serious dumbing down of the game we know, love, and occasionally hate. I can't see myself paying for access to the material online either. I was always a fan of epic campaigns with high level characters, since it turned the game into a more metaphorical and philosophical game instead of how much can I min/max. I still feel cheated by the uber broken epic level handbook. They have gotten enough of my money and spending more isn't warranted since I only play once a week anymore.
Yes! this post says all that I was thinking as well as the rest.
There is just no way to stop it. Nothing to stop anyone from hooking up analogue outputs from something and capturing on something else. Sure it won't be "high quality" but half the time I don't believe thats a issue. The "people" will go to great lengths to do what they are not supposed to. Just look at those crazy people who scan entire Dungeons and Dragons books, one page at a time. How are you going to beat that?!?

I would just hammer it

kiss your net neutrality goodbye in the US
This could be taken that they want to limit mail so that it appears that less people are pissed off on * subject.
Thank you for mentioning a tracert. Seems to be the easiest way to at least figure generally where it is.
Still a pretty funny story.
