Look up the specifications. H.264 supports auxiliary pictures for alpha blending. The example posted above is using this within the video file itself.

I know how it's being done, that doesn't change the fact that alpha transparency exists within the video. It is more complex than a simple animated image, but it also has the potential to be used in much greater ways.

It only requires a very small amount, perhaps a tablespoon in a small container of water, and I usually have a shot "with" the dearly departed. I could never be so cruel as to flush one of my fish and have them suffer even more, which defeats the purpose of putting them down. I love all of my pets, even my fish.

It should invalidate this study. Alcohol is toxic to fish, so they most likely didn't lose their fear, they were probably just extremely sick. When fish get sick, they tend to not move much and ignore most of their surroundings.

I have had to euthanize a few of my old, terminally ill zebra danios before. The method I use is to put the sick fish into a small container and add a little bit of clove oil, which causes them to become lethargic and go into sleep mode. Afterward, alcohol is added, vodka or whatever, and the fish never wakes up.

Many companies do it. I was once offered employed with a marketing company based out of Berkeley, California (I don't remember the name now) that was hired by Atari/Infogrames to write fake positive posts on various gaming sites about their 2005 game "Act of War". Of course they were very deceptive about it being spam and didn't find out exactly what they were up to until the end of the interview. I walked out on the interviewer without any further words when I did find out.

This is why I encourage all drivers and bikers to install a dash/handlebar camera that just records in loop mode. This way if anything happens, there is video evidence of exactly what happened. If the driver truly was not at fault, they would have no reason to fear and might even be able to save a life because they weren't afraid to stop and phone in the accident.

I have mine setup with a series of blank directories for public, friends and private upload and just drag and drop stuff into them as needed. You can also upload encrypted files, such as encrypted 7-zip archives containing whatever you want. The Google Drive client behaves in much the same way. Box.com is really my favourite because you can use it via WebDAV and map it like another drive on your PC, no additional software needed.
