This might not be a Federal crime but I honestly believe it should be. It's quite clear the States have no desire to prevent this kind of behaviour.
TENTH AMENDMENT of the U.S. Constition

prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively,
or to the people.
Why is it that so many on here are comparing a whipping(something that the great majority of individuals survive) to murder(something nobody survives)?
Please don't compare the U.S.A. to a country like Sweden that has fewer persons in it than our largest cities, is a monarchy, and has the diversity of a vanilla ice cream cone with an M & M face on it, of which nearly 1.3 million of its populace left at the beginning of the 1900's to come to the U.S.A. where they comprise about 4.4 million strong today, as they contribute to the laws on the books here that declare in all 50 States that corporal punishment is legal in the home.
If she thought it truly wrong, she would have released the video right away, rather than wait for the most satisfactory moment of revenge. She knew what seh was going to get for disobeying her parents rules, and she knew it was justified, otherwise this video would have come out six years ago.
The law doesn't say that he should/may receive a 'beating' for the crime of illegally downloading music. The much discussed repercussion/consequence of that crime results in the MAFIAA suing you into financial submission rather than physical.
He was applying his God given and government affirmed right to discipline his child after she thwarted his authority on numerous occasions and risked the financial security of their home.
She was repeatedly downloading music illegally in his house at the height of the MAFIAA lawsuit festival. Corporal punishment is legal in many states, and rightly so.
Read on page 22 in the Oct 31, 2011 edition of Time Magazine that if every person in the world was housed at the density of New York City, then every person would fit in the state of Texas.
So..overcrowded my butt.
Yes but shouldn't prior art be qualified by the ability to compete in the same market. The Newton never came close to the market that Palm had, it's like saying that the unique play that a Div IV sports team developed should be banned from used in a Div I game because the Div IV team can't play in Div I.
The idea that T-Rex wasn't a carnivore, but a carrion eater. Too big, too fat, pathetic arms that wouldn't allow it to get back up quickly in a hunt(if ever) and probably slow as a sloth.
Everyone is over checking out the pics, videos and documentation. Some of the folks that actually understand flight math won't be back on Slashdot til tomorrow.
I was 8 years old when a TI 99/4A came home, and it was a blast of a gaming machine to rival all that Atari had to offer, and a few years later, yes I was typing papers on it.
WinPhone user here, I love it. I could do with a little more freedom to install what I want, but the device is the biggest step forward they have ever had. The speed, the reliability, the one thumb friendliness. The apps that matter are there, I don't need to point at 500,000 apps that are largely copies of other bad apps, or worthless gag apps, to qualify the device like Android and Apple. I also had it since day one, and have been along for the ride as they matured the device while I used it, but for someone who has always run all their beta desktop OS', it's not a big deal, it's an adventure. The functionality that was there on day one worked rock solid, and the other things that showed up later work rock solid as well. I admit that I can't say that about the desktop OS', but I can install what I want their and break it as I see fit, without the hurdles of getting something like ChevronWP7 to work and allow me to that kind of action on my WinPhone.
I never thought I would see Star Wars tech come to reality, that thing always looked like a phone jack to me.

Her pants were not filled after this session, so it must not have been to the point of hyperbole that you employed.
He was applying his God given and government affirmed right to discipline his child after she thwarted his authority on numerous occasions and risked the financial security of their home.
Check that, actually all states. Now that's a plurality.

The point is that No, nobody did see Newton, whereas LOTS of people saw Palm.

Fair enough.
Of the state's rights issue Amazon is on. Next up -> the Amazon Library of Congress.
And the last time you didn't pay taxes to Federal, State AND local was when?

With that insight provided by Jean-Loius Gassee, you can kind of see her point.
I was participating in the thread. Read the rest of it to understand my post please.

We just asked for a la carte, we didn't place our order at the same time, and they brought us the scraps from yesterdays blue plate special.
Why do you find yourself caring whether you have it in your head versus in the phone's memory?
He's a spy. shhhhhh.
Looks better than Crysis 2.
