Well, the animated series had a few good episodes...
Okay, yeah, it sounds terrible. Maybe it could do something about some cadets who joined to be scientists and explorers but ended up fighting the Klingon war.
It's more to do with the reprisal from China rather than US jobs directly depending on ZTE. It also harms US companies by creating a greater incentive to replace their products for security reasons.
That's a very odd interpretation of wanting to increase diversity. Surely the must believe the very opposite - that colour doesn't matter when it comes to podcast quality.
It's a way to get more content, some of it unique to their platform. Find an under-utilized source of podcasts, or anything really, and develop it.
The same thing had some success on YouTube, before the great demonetization happened. I guess Google is working on the assumption that they can fix that.
I remember paper straws from my childhood and don't recall any issues with them... Why do they under-perform?
Personally I'd prefer if I could bring my own vacuum insulated cup/bottle. Less ice, more drink and stays cool for longer. That's what I do on road trips.
It's an ancient technique to avoid needing floating point maths, where you simply multiply everything by 65536 and use 32 bit ints. So 1.0000 becomes 65536... But calling that constant "one" is one of the best examples of terrible variable naming I've come across.
Wired cameras can have the wires cut. Hard line installation is no good if bad people with wire cutters can disable the cameras.
Back in the real word the average burglar doesn't carry a wifi jammer, most firmware isn't so flakey that loss of wifi signal results in the SD card recording failing, and these cameras are a big improvement over the alternative - which is nothing.
RFID door latches with solar power are not a bad idea. Have a key as a backup but most people can just use a card/phone for entry.
Wireless security cameras are very popular thanks to ease of installation. They usually have an SD card slot that stores the video, the wireless just being for viewing or downloading video.
Even better, look at TCO. AMD's sockets and motherboards have historically lasted a lot, lot longer than Intel's. This generation is looking no different.
Also, AMD give you more PCIe lanes, so if/when USB 4.0 or Thunderfart X comes out you should be able to slap a card in and get decent performance without having to replace the motherboard just to get enough lanes for full performance.
AMD has you covered. As well as being more secure than Intel out of the box, they do timely updates when required and support a number of security enhancing features that Intel does not. For example, encrypted RAM.
Unfortunately they still have closed source microcode and the like, but even that is much more minimal than Intel's.
Relying on code review and automated behaviour scans is a solid fail. They need to make the OS robust enough to give the user full control of what apps can and cannot do, and explain the consequences to the user better.
As for Android, the Play Store is no worse than Apple's App Store. The only other one I use is the open source F-Droid store, which of course means accepting all the risks associated with any open source package manager like you would find in any Linux distro.
The main issue I have with the Apple App Store is the very poor search function. If you don't know the specific app name it's very hard to find something good. There is far too much crap on there and somehow the crap seems to bubble to the top of the results. To be honest I'm not sure there are any good English learning apps for Chinese speakers, they were all either too advanced or obviously developed by people with no teaching experience. YouTube is much better, but of course blocked in China.
Which is extremely short sighted because if ZTE dies then a lot of American jobs will be killed off too. China will retaliate, just like it is retaliating against the tariffs, just like every other country hit with them does.
No one wins trade wars, one side just loses more slowly.
Tesla can't meet demand at the moment, where as Ford is cutting models due to lack of it.
It's hard to say how big Tesla's market share will end up being once they can get production up to speed and fulfil all the pre-orders. Other manufacturers are beating them to market on affordable 200+ mile range EVs now, e.g. Hyundai's new 64kWh Kona. But it seems certain that Tesla will become a major player in the market now.
Sure, but it's a working prototype that actually flies and covers those kinds of distances. As a proof of concept it shows that the battery to range ratio isn't so far out that we will need "100x" improvements in battery life.
Also, if we are talking about false flagging, it has to be pointed out that many progressive channels are affected too. Also, 4chan users openly discuss it so it's not even like we have to speculate that it is happening.

Most of the series were. TNG had a French captain, female security officer, and Data's personhood was the basis of a few plots over the years.
DS9 had a black captain and did more than any other series to explore the lives of aliens and their cultures.
Voyager had women in several key roles including captain.
Enterprise was a bit of an anomaly and seemed to suffer from not having that strong social justice aspect to drive the stories.
TV shows are about making money. Thank you Captain Obvious.
Some communities just don't seem to have much of a podcasting culture. A bit of effort to develop one seems reasonable.

Why did you assume it was due to discrimination? I didn't even mention it...
Why do most ACs assume everything is because of discrimination?

The 3 layers were
- BIOS password
- Windows login
- ROT-13 encrypted cp_evidence.zip file

These are consumer grade IoT devices. You seem to be talking about professional, manned devices.
But in any case, what would be the point of a wifi jammer? The burglar would still be recorded on the SD card.
I guess some cameras have an alert feature that wouldn't operate while the jammer was active, but if you rely on that for security...

Among the alternatives offered are paper straws. Remember when milk came in paper cartons too?

What kind of IoT device would benefit from RS-485 over, say, WiFi or low power long range radio link?
I'm struggling to see any good applications.
Why kind of IoT device would benefit from a wired data connection over, say, Wifi or low power long range radio?
The main advantage of a wired connection is data rate. What kind of IoT device needs more than WiFi can supply?
