    Bollocks. I remember saying it was a stupid idea at the time, and for stability as well as security reasons. Microkernels looked like a good way to go at the time, whereas MS were doing the exact opposite of what good design principles dictate. Have you not read Structured Computer Organisation?

    NO, THEY ARE NOT. They are not even based on the 6502, it was a new design of 32-bit RISC processor which came out in1987, which is when I first had a play with an ARM-based computer. Look at the instruction sets if you don't believe me.

    I don't expect this will get modded up, because I'm only a mail admin with years of experience, and what do I know. Vive la web 2.0 etc.

    Spamhaus don't list people unless they've got a very good reason - that's why the majority of email providers, and likely your mail feed is using SBL. Steve is not crazy, and incidentally, business details are not subject to data protection provisions under the EU directive, so it is absolutely fine to say you kicked a spammer.

    Lie down with the dogs, get up with the fleas. Woohoo, you made your sales quota, but don't expect me to accept your email.

    They're not that bad- hydrogen-chlorine mixtures are far worse as I recall, but gaseous explosives are never going to be as bangy as liquid or solid ones. iow, fuel oil and fertiliser is still the best bang for your buck.

    If they're like the ones in NZ, it's because of increased precipitation which is how glaciers happen. If the input is greater than the rate at which the snout is melting, then it gets bigger - doesn't say whether it's hotter or colder, so please think for 2 seconds before you type.

    This device is not only designed to work underwater, but is the second generation, so the Oyster 1 has been thoroughly tested. I think they'll have got round to thinking about the issue of it being continuously immersed in SALT WATER.
