"Socialism - the redistribution of resources within a group."
Then all governments are socialist, because they all collect income tax and spend it on people other than yourself.
Had a marketing call from 'Orrible yesterday and the guy mentioned they'd recently acquired Solaris and Java. Yes, I know - that's why I'm busy looking for alternatives, mate.
The one that carries the Bad Science column about poor experimental design and statistics? If you've found an error, point it out but don't expect anyone to be impressed by name-calling.
Bollocks. I remember saying it was a stupid idea at the time, and for stability as well as security reasons. Microkernels looked like a good way to go at the time, whereas MS were doing the exact opposite of what good design principles dictate. Have you not read Structured Computer Organisation?
NO, THEY ARE NOT. They are not even based on the 6502, it was a new design of 32-bit RISC processor which came out in1987, which is when I first had a play with an ARM-based computer. Look at the instruction sets if you don't believe me.

Steve is not crazy, and incidentally, business details are not subject to data protection provisions under the EU directive, so it is absolutely fine to say you kicked a spammer.

They're not that bad- hydrogen-chlorine mixtures are far worse as I recall, but gaseous explosives are never going to be as bangy as liquid or solid ones. iow, fuel oil and fertiliser is still the best bang for your buck.
If they're like the ones in NZ, it's because of increased precipitation which is how glaciers happen. If the input is greater than the rate at which the snout is melting, then it gets bigger - doesn't say whether it's hotter or colder, so please think for 2 seconds before you type.
"According to the Review, without action, the overall costs of climate change will be equivalent to losing at least 5% of global gross domestic product (GDP) each year, now and forever. Including a wider range of risks and impacts could increase this to 20% of GDP or more."
Just like the War against Terror allowed everyone to justify punitive actions against their own "internal terrorists", like in Chechnya, and more recently Syria. Great - thanks a bunch Mr. Cameron. Next time, think before you open your mouth, please.
This device is not only designed to work underwater, but is the second generation, so the Oyster 1 has been thoroughly tested. I think they'll have got round to thinking about the issue of it being continuously immersed in SALT WATER.
yeah. that was a half-baked POS bill if ever there was one. I'd forgotten about that for the moment - though I did write to my MP about it at the time.
Or were you actually serious?
It's really time to go metric guys, unless anyone can explain to me what that means?
