I love Google Maps, but I hate their projection; it looks like Africa and Greenland have similar areas. However Africa is fourteen times the size of Greenland. And look at Antarctica; it should be half the size of Africa.
It was dropped in Doom 3, as it really wasn't that much of a win for the effort.
While it didn't really increase the maximum framerate, it did increase the minimum framerate during the busiest moments. And those are the times when you actually benefit from a better framerate IME.

This is not true, at least for Verisign resellers, like Trustwise in the UK. I renewed two global certs 5 months ago and was not told.

According to the LucasArts website "the game is intended for play only within North America". Is there a European or worldwide version?
